This place has great service. Attentive and friendly staff, also a really yummy watermelon margarita! However, the food we had was not good. Fries were not hot or crispy. Salsa and bean dip lack flavor and just mediocre. Chips were good! I personally won’t be back for food here, maybe a marg though!

THE YARD CAFE. This bar has everything. Delicious margs. Quality, fresh food (if you don't try the quesadilla, you're missing out). A cozy bar that connects to a patio. And a super hot bartender named Spencer. You have to check this place out if you're in Greenwood!

Dropped by around lunch time on a Saturday and was able to grab an outside bench pretty easily. Service was responsive but the food was just ok. Had the poblano burger, ordered medium, with a side of fries. The burger besides the meat had some good flavor with the poblanos and chipotle aioli, but the meat was well done and not seasoned. Same overcooked issue with my friend's burger, but she had ordered hers medium rare. Fries were fine, although seemed like they had been sitting for a while. Ok spot if you're in the neighborhood looking for a casual beer garden

Come for the outdoor picnic tables and tap selection, including seasonal ciders and ginger/root beer. I do love root beer on tap. But, don't expect great food. They used to serve delicious tacos and queso - oh, the queso! Alas, those days are nothing but memories now. We've entered the guac visibly scooped from a tub era. Sad times, indeed.

Living in the neighborhood I've been to the Yard many times over the last few years. The location is great, with plenty of outdoor seating, an interesting indoor dining area, nice bar, and heaters here and there to keep you toasty. The food is good, and there's a nice selection of beers and cocktails. The service is unfortunately often subpar. I've been ignored for long stretches of time multiple times, and have otherwise had servers who've seemingly gone out of their way to be at best neutral, at worst argumentative about serving us. It's almost as if there is a pride

I'm done with this place. The food is good in my opinion but the service I've received, from multiple employees there, is been the worst i can think of in the Puget Sound area. I've come to pick up orders and been completely ignored at the pickup area and the latest is a patronizing voice mail i received about an order i made but didn't pick up. I thought i was ordering for delivery, which i have done before, but apparently it was for pickup. The call/voicemail came over 2 hours later. The poor service is pervasive enough that it must be a management issue. So i don't

The drinks are great, and so are the tacos. But the last couple visits the price has not been worth the quality of food overall. Given the price, I'd look elsewhere.

Sat in the upstairs seating area. Felt safe with distance between tables, open windows. Enjoyed the salad. Attentive waitstaff.

Say outside because it was sunny. Service was quick, our server was very nice, food was really good. The pretzel knots with jalapeno cheese sauce was my favorite and I'll definitely be back for those! BLTG was really good too.

The Yard Cafe has a really nice outdoor seating area with picnic tables and counter seating. The drink list was good but the food and service were just okay. The tacos were alright but nothing incredible. The shrimp one honestly didn't really even taste like shrimp, which was confusing. I almost couldn't tell the difference between the shrimp taco and the fish taco. I ended up paying almost $30 for two really small tacos and one beer, and our server forgot about us for a long time (at least 30 minutes) after we asked for a few more minutes to look over the menu. I'd go back for a

The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and the tap set is pretty diverse. Seating is a little limited but there is both indoor and outdoor. They have a solid looking cocktail menu but I personally didn't try it. It's a place to chill and hang out with friends for sure, multiple televisions broadcasting sports. Inside they've got a wheelchair friendly lift to go up and down the stairs. Definitely a place to come back to every now and again.

Great little place since it re opened.

We got the chicken wings with sweet and spicy. Good wings but next time I would get Buffalo.

Also got the pretzel knots with jalapeño dip. Honestly the pretzels were too good on their own to add the dip.

Lastly chips and quac another winner. Chips are warm, fresh salty and the guacamole is one of the best I have had a restaurant for a long time

Drinks have also seemed to improved
We got a few beers and the beekeeper which we got two round of

They are being responsible with covid, definitely would recommend for apps and drinks for sure!

Great ambiance, service was nothing to complain about, but I was pretty disappointed with the food. We got a veggie quesadilla, fish tacos, and the quinoa bowl with cod, and every dish seemed to lack flavor. Needed seasoning, salt, salsa, and more variety in texture.

First, the quesadilla was hard to eat because everything just squished out of it as you bite in. I couldn't even tell what was inside because it all just kind of blended together. There was no distinct flavor (or flavors), and I'm not even convinced there was cheese inside. I think it was just beans...? Honestly I couldn

Cool vibe, friendly folks, great music (90s hip hop today)!
The food is pretty basic but decent, but the prices are outrageous.
$8 for a "tulip" of cider? That's like 8 ounces, if that.
So I got two "tulips" of cider and a quesadilla, and after the tip it was $40. Yeeeaaaahhhhh.... Granted I live in South Seattle, and things are still pretty cheap down here (for now), but daaaaannnggggg.
I don't think I'd ever go to this place if I didn't have friends that wanted me to meet them there. WAY too expensive for what you get, and spare me the "everything

Been driving by this place for years, finally was treated to lunch by my dear partner who eats there often. Even in wiinter rain and inside only seating I loved it. It's super casual, service is relaxed but just dandy. The food is amazing, we each ordered two tacos and then ordered another one/ its that good. The table next to us was having a taco salad- plenty to share. I really wanted to add it to our order, food envy/ lust. I will be back- fresh, bright flavors, good prices, good bar, friendly, relaxed service. Just do it!

For a special belated birthday for myself and one of my staff, a couple of our other staff took us out to lunch at the Yard restaurant.

There were some things that I actually like about the Yard:

Firstly, the parking was great. It was nice to be able to roll up and get a parking spot right at the building at the lunch rush hour.

Secondly, the look and feel of the exterior of the restaurant was really appealing.

I like the fact that the bathrooms were gender neutral but were one person at a time spaces.

Otherwise, the ambience of the restaurant was OK. And had sort of a rustic feel about

I can’t believe they charge $14 for a cocktail that a kid could have put together. See photo . I expect more out of a $14 cocktail.. no inspiration or finesse. Service was slow. Ambience was good; fun place to sit outside with a beer I suppose.

This was a nice little spot to grab a drink. Great beer list and a unique cocktail menu as well. The servers were all friendly as well.
The only downside is their hours. The web says they were open until 2 am. We show up on a Saturday at 11 pm and were informed that the kitchen had already closed. This wasn't a big deal because we were just stopping in for drinks. There were a couple individuals sitting in the courtyard that left about a quarter after 11 and the staff immediately moved in with the garden hose, sprayed everything down and closed that area off. Around 11:40, the server came around

Walked here for dinner on a recommendation while we were babysitting. The weather was nice so all of the outdoor seating was taken so we ended up sitting just the other side if the wall that divided the restaurant area from the bar.

Being on a bit of a street taco thing lately I went with the street tacos. Nothing overly exciting and a little bit dry. The children's menu was also a little too sophisticated for a two year old (and meals are not generally altered for him) They didn't have anything that wasn't too spicy for the little guy so he didn't really like anything

Loved this place! It was my first time coming here, but I had a great experience.
I came here for Saturday brunch and ordered the Sunflower cocktail which was gin, lemon and champagne. Kind of like a take on French 75's, but it was so much lighter and just all around delicious. The menu is Mexican-inspired and I asked one of the owners (who was there) what inspired his menu. He said basically things he enjoyed eating and wanted to make for other - genius.

i ordered the chilaquiles, which were delicious! it's a very generous serving of tortillas, layered with a tomatillo salsa verde
