Cafe Pettirosso
Caf Pettirosso was founded in the 90's by Robin Wright as a coffee cart. Eventually finding a permanent space as a caf on the corner of 11th and Pike, Pettirosso was taken over and remodeled by Yuki and Miki Sodos (sisters, and co-owners of Bang Bang Caf in Belltown). In addition to our daily breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner menu, we also cater and bake cakes to order.

A full pastry case and espresso bar serving locally roasted Lighthouse Roasters greets you at the front door, followed by our bar, stocked full with spirits, both local and international. If you're looking for orange or grapefruit straight from the source, our juices are fresh squeezed. At Cafe Pettirosso we pride ourselves in offering a little something for everyone.

First time trying this restaurant. The menu looks good. We ordered tofu vegies scramble w/ curry sauce and toast and steak sandwich. Pretty good food. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes.

My colleagues and I went in for a much needed happy hour and had the best time and fantastic service. Jessica was an amazing server and was very attentive. I had the aperol spritz which was refreshing and tasty. We shared the charcuterie board, Roasted Garlic Arancini and the flatbread and everything was so good! Finished off our evening with tiramisu. Definitely will be back for the drinks, food and service!

Friendly hostess made the experience sweet for our family's last meal together in Seattle. The vegan options didn't taste vegan and every meal had a perfect balance of healthy in it. This place was wonderful to find

Ordered the French toast and a drip coffee, though had I known the coffee was $5 I probably would have gotten an americano for $3.50 since I only had one cup. This was also due to the fact that I think they forgot I ordered a coffee and I had to ask a few times to finally get it. The place was super busy though so I get it, just a mild complaint.

The French toast was good, but a little too much on the sweet side for me. Granted, French toast is usually sweet, but they went a bit too all out on sweet toppings for me- I probably could have gone without the cream and the toffee, as they were a bit

Stopped by a couple of times because my best friend lives across the street. I prefer the beverages over the food items. The food to me was meh.

I WILL SAY... The hot chocolate though is a complete banger. I truly could careless for hot chocolate...why did I order the hot chocolate. I couldn't tell you honestly. I was feeling "wild". Anywho, if you're a sap for latte art and good vibes. I'd check it out.

To the servers and baristas. Huge thank you. I have a den

The BEST vegan Mac I've ever had! It's a must try for anyone vegan or even non-vegan. Ordered some for take-out to bring to a friendsgiving and had some of my omni friends try and they even said it was so good!

Came here for brunch and am wondering why I haven't been in sooner! Cute space inside with a bar and counter in the front window - they have heated outdoor space too. The pastries looked delicious! Excellent coffee drinks and the chicken sausage that came with my meal was really tasty. Helpful, friendly service despite the fact that it was very busy.

This is definitely a must try. This is my first time and I absolutely loved the place. They have nice outdoor seating with cozy indoor dining as well. I tried the bagel with salmon and a scone. Both were very good. My wife took the pettirosso basic. I really liked the cappuccino with the scone. The staff was super friendly and would definitely come back again.

We stumbled on this place around 7:30pm after a cold ride and hangry. We weren't sure what to expect but the menu gave an authentic Italian impression. Both the Pesto Gnocchi and Shrimp&Grits in the dinner menu blew us out of the water, holy smokes.

We were singing the Lonely Island's song "Jizz in my pants" the whole time. And that's a review coming from an angry Asian that thinks no white people's food is better than ours.

FALL PESTO GNOCCHI: SUPER CHEWY and fresh. Includes pischachio, dried tomato, creamy pesto.

SHRIMP & GRITS: Soooo buttery and cheesy

Worst croque madame I've ever had. Mexican mocha was fine. Honestly this place probably deserves a higher rating, but I am basing it solely off the one dish I got. It was impossible to cut through the baguette that was used as the sandwich base. Super messy and hard to eat. I don't recommend getting this dish, get literally anything else on the menu

Tasty brunch albeit with small portions. We stopped by for a brunch on a Saturdau and we had about a 15 minute wait. We ordered coffee, two servings of grilled cheese/tomato soup($20 each). It was good, but the portion of tomato soup was rather small. A member of our party ordered duck confit and they enjoyed it. Overall, nothing remarkable but a solid choice for a casual brunch if you aren't terribly hungry.

Pettirosso is THE BEST! The owners are super nice women too. I love everything on their menu. Their desserts are exquisite, and the breakfast grilled cheese with caramelized onions is to die for! So buttery! It even travels well to-go.

Overall my experience at Pettitrosso was very enjoyable. I had a grapefruit mimosa, perfectly balanced, in an appropriately gigantic wine glass which made me feel very fancy. My husband ordered the "Bartender's Breakfast" cocktail, a delicious concoction of cold brew and alcohol topped with an orange peel twist. The flavor on its own is fantastic, and the garnish adds an interesting citrus aromatic that I didn't initially thing would mesh with a creamy, coffee cocktail.
We also ordered a couple shareables, a jalapeno cheddar scone and a bruleed grapefruit. The scone was good, though I would have

I love everything about this place: excellent service, great food and atmosphere. I hope they never have to open up 11th Ave; the street makes a great plaza. We went for brunch last week and had a great time. And when you sit outside, the people watching on Capitol Hill is awesome.

Dog owner alert: they bake their own T-R-E-A-T-S and our very picky dog loves them.

We shared an order of the brisket gnocchi (oh, gawd) and duck confit hash (good, but not as savory as the gnocchi). I also tried the Impossible biscuit sandwich and it was just...dry. The meat, the biscuit. Just dry. Our server told

Went here for breakfast recently and it was such a treat! Great vegan options! I hate to say it, but their biscuits and gravy are better than ones I've had at most vegan restaurants. They also had a bruleed grapefruit, which was delicious (and novel) and one of the best scones I've ever eaten - orange cranberry and to die for. The atmosphere is also adorable and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommend!

We came in for a late brunch/lunch and we're seated outside in a comfortable spot in the Chophouse Row lane next to their building. I had a truly delicious and excellently cooked medium rare burger with some great fries. My wife had a rich and tasty tomato basil soup and a grilled cheese that they were able to make with gluten-free brioche for her. They brought a treat and water bowl for our little dog, which was very nice of them. They also refilled my coffee and our water many times. Great service and excellent food.

This place is BUSY on the weekends. The wait was worth it. The food itself was so delicious, their vegan biscuits and gravy is immaculate. The front seating isn't too great, it's very small and crowded. We were seated in the little alley way which made it feel like we weren't even in Seattle anymore. Definitely a good spot for dates or Instagram worthy aesthetic photos. I got their cardamom latte which was super tasty and flavorful from the spices. Worth a visit.

Last night Cafe Pettirosso made a miracle happen. My best friend's elderly father is very sick and may not be with us much longer, so she and her fiancé decided just three weeks ago they wanted to get married now while her father could be there.

Knowing we didn't have much time to throw something together, we were resigned to the possibility of having a house party for a reception. Here enters Miki and her team of all stars. Not only did they allow us to use their beautiful cafe for the reception, but it was one of the best weddings I've ever been to (and I've been to a lot

Came here for drinks. I guess it's a cafe during the day and restaurant/bar at night?! The cocktails were very interesting, tasty but with a twist. We liked the That's My Jam and B.A.N.A.N.A.S. the most.

Very friendly service, and the back alley was quaint with chill vibes.

Food was delicious and different than what you expect from other brunch spots in Seattle. I had the duck confit hash and it was delicious! Lots of meat and a good assortment of veggies. Chipotle ailoi wasn't very spicy (which I'm not great with spice so worked for me!) And the portion size was large. Barely looked like I made a dent when I was full. Place definitely gets busy quick. We showed up about 30 minutes after they opened and had to wait about 20 minutes for a table and they had a constant line of people.

Very vegan friendly! Outside seating. Cute little tent. I came right at opening on a Monday and it is quiet which I love. I'm sure this place fills up on the weekends.

Was seated immediately and had my order taken soon after. Friendly consistent service.

I ordered the orange cranberry scone (vegan) and the buiscuits and gravy (vegan) and they were both so incredible I came back for them a couple weeks later. I've also had the vegan breakfast sandwiches (two mini sandwiches instead of one large), and their vegan Mac and Cheese (incredible!).

Highly recommend this place for a vegan

The service here is great. We came for dinner and had the steak frites and vegetable root pot pie (lots of vegan options here, this is one of them). Steak frites was a 11/10. Pot Pie not our favorite.

Would love to come back here for brunch / bakery as well!

Very enjoyable and safe patio dining experience! Service was great, and their covered street patio setup has space heaters. Still dress warm, but it wasn’t as chilly as some spots. We highly enjoyed the halloumi dish, and the tomato basil soup was so fresh and tasty. Generous portion sizes as well. We had to wait a bit for a table, but the service was very speedy once we were sat. Highly recommend all around!

Great brunch.
The tiramisu roulade dessert looks great. It looks better than it tastes though. Not bad still.
