By utilizing the StrongFirst Principles and Techniques our coaches are able to teach you how to lift safely and effectively, mitigate injury, and meet you where you are to best help you find a sustainable relationship with fitness. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable and confident in the gym, and capable of making training a permanent part of your life.

Our Supervised Open Training format is personalized training where you gain lifting skill, and feel the best you've felt in your life. Workouts always contain components of skill, mobility, and strength. All of our students must pass the Iron Monkey Rite of Passage Program to qualify for Supervised Open Training.

I hate gyms in general because they are always, intimidating and they feel like a competition or a cult ( depends on the gym).
When I started looking for a gym in Long Island I have to admit I went to so duds until I found Iron Monkey. They do things the right way and the environment is phenomenal. Jason is a fountain of knowledge and I cant recommend this place enough.

Jason is an incredible trainer. Not only does he explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand, but he also knows how to instill confidence in his trainees. I’ve learned to lift weights that I never imagined in my life I could do thanks to Jason and his amazing staff including Robert and Jesse. Furthermore, the facility is kept immaculately clean and has a very pleasant atmosphere.

Jason, Jesse, and Rob are knowledgeable, detailed, and provides personalized programs. I really enjoy coming here because they actually listen to my goals and develop a path to get me there. I feel stronger and healthier which were my two main goals. With their assistance I was able to accomplish this goal and know I will be able to maintain this goal as well as accomplish any new ones that may arise. The work outs continuously surprise and challenge me. I recommend this gym to anyone that is looking for people that will push you but pay close attention to your limits as well. The staff will guide

I was looking for a place to get back into working out. Didn't want to go to a big box gym since I recently had knee surgery. But the guys at Iron monkey strength really helped me improve a lot from where I was to where I am now. Thanks Jason, Jesse, and Robert. From never touching a weight before to training in Olympic style workouts these guys do it all. If you can go check them out.

This place really has the formula down to help you get the results you strive for in a realistic way. Working out is a lifestyle. Not a fad. I was very overweight and dealing with Covid long haulers symptoms (had covid 2x). After 2 months of changing my eating habits, I decided to try something I've never tried before and began the 3 month training program with Iron Monkey Strength. If one dedicates themselves to the program and continues a healthy lifestyles outside of the gym, you WILL get the results you want. I lost over 20lbs my body fat % went down several points. My lung's stamina increased

As someone who has a background in lifting, I was looking for a local gym with the right equipment. Iron Monkey has both and more. The facility and equipment are immaculate, the coaches are top notch, and the community is incredible. Jason, Jesse, and Robert are amazing coaches who love what they do. They’ve helped me increase my strength and improve my form in the past 3 months. I would highly recommend Iron Monkey Strength for anyone who is just starting out or has a background in lifting.

If you are someone looking to start a journey to become stronger and more confident this is defiantly the best first step to take. Iron monkey has been a wonderful experience for me. I never knew how to weight lift and now I do. I love that every step of the way, someone is there to help you. Iron Monkey Strength is a phenomenal strength training gym with an emphasis on individualized personal training and teaching technique, form, and maximizing results. Everyone who joins must go through the Monkey Rite of Passage - a 12 week, 3x/week regimented program to familiarize yourself with all the basics of Strong First kettlebell training, barbell work, and strength training/conditioning in general. They also put a strong emphasis on recovery and mobility/stretching which has meant zero injuries even while using new equipment and doing exercises I've never done before. While expensive, it
