The apartments are clean with many amenities for tenants; washer and dryer per unit, common areas include free coffee, gym rooms, meeting and study rooms as well as a pool on the roof. The building and apartments are secure. All of this is included with the rent. There are more amenities planned with no rent cost increase and it is within walking distance to ECU's campus. I strongly recommend the Jolly Roger as a modern living facility.

My name is Caroline, and I am writing a new review through my friends account since I can’t write another one. I wish there was 0 stars for this place. My roommate heard a trickle in her bathroom, so naturally being stressed about being flooded out AGAIN, we called maintenance to come look at it. They never showed up, so I had to take it upon myself to call the office again, which then made them send the property manager up to take a look at it. This is the same property manager that was sitting on his phone in the office the day that my apartment was flooded and no one was answering the office

The complex is unsafe! They rushed renting the units and over half of the tenants have issues. No one is being compensated. My niece has been in a hotel due to them not having anymore backup units and is still being charged rent. I witnessed them speaking with a young lady about being approved, but needing a co-signer and not being able to get out of the lease even though she hadn’t moved in, nor was she aware that she’d need the guarantor. I helped her get in touch with corporate and still nothing. They have such I don’t care attitudes. You will not receive the $1,000 gift card or the flat

I am a former Jolly Roger employee… I have never seen a company so poorly run before. It is complete chaos. If you are thinking about living here, I beg you please don’t. A lot of shady business tactics going on. This place should have never opened in the first place, it was no where near finished. So many safety hazards and unsafe living conditions. To the people who are living in this disaster… document everything and fight like hell to get out of your lease. They are currently being sued by many and if you have a reason (almost guarantee that you do) I’d recommend filing a lawsuit as

I had such high expectations of this place. And being let down is an understatement. First off, we moved in without a room key, a mail key, and our 50 inch mounted TV that we were promised on the lease. We have just gotten our bedroom keys and our mail keys almost a month and a half into our stay. We still have not gotten the TV. The gym is unfinished, as well as many of the amenities like the print room. These are all minor things compared to what everyone else is saying about the leaking. I woke up this morning to my roommates closet gushing water from a burst pipe. Long story short it ended

My roommate and I were so excited to move into this place. This is absolutely the worst apartment complex in Greenville. Don’t you think is weird how every good review was from months ago before move in?? Well here’s why.. our 5th floor apartment has now flooded 3 separate times. The last occasion my roommate and I had to leave work early to come home to our apartment covered in sewage water. My dog was home alone at the time and was walking around in fecal matter. Sewage got all over everything I had and ruined my belongings. Industrial fans were plugged in from the flood the night before

This place is a major disappointment.
For starters, we don’t have our televisions which we were promised when we moved in. Some of the entry doors also are consistently broken, how safe right. I also was guaranteed IN CONTRACT I’d receive a $1,000 gift addendum and was told I’d get it in APRIL. I’ve called at least 20 times and I get the same old “they aren’t in yet, we’ll let you know” or “we’ll have them by July… August…” - ridiculous. Even my own room has problems, there’s leakage in my bathroom. Even the oldest apartments don’t have that mess, this is brand new
