The Lakeside Cabin Rooms offer a spectacular view of the mountains and Grand Lake, and are just steps away from the waterfront!. The Lake House is a lakeside two bedroom, two bathroom unit with a complete kitchen and private balcony overlooking Grand Lake. On the main level (middle level of the house), you will find the kitchen, dining and living (foldout couch with memory foam mattress) areas with a side deck and gas grill, a bedroom with a queen bed, and a bathroom.
All Western Riviera properties are within walking distance to the wooden boardwalks leading to various restaurants, shops and activities associated with our old west village. Grand Lake has a season for you with a variety of outdoor activities available year round. From boating, fishing and golfing to snowmobiling and snowshoeing - we have it all!

This is a motel style hotel with the door and windows opening up to the lake, which 100 yards from your room. The value and location cannot be beat right in the middle of the city. The rooms are fine, but haven't been updated in a while - I would say that there is an accompanying light odor that comes with older rooms. Not terrible, but it doesn't smell like a Marriot.

We loved our stay at the Western Riviera. We stayed in one of the cabin units which are north of the main street. While not on the lake, the cabins are in a quiet area, but plenty close to everything on the main street. We really enjoyed meeting and hanging out with some folks from the Colorado Springs VFW motorcycle group in the courtyard area. Honestly, the fellowship with the "neighbors" was probably the best highlight of our stay!

Recently stayed here for a night while our cabin had some construction and it was such a godsend. We got to stay in the "treehouse" and the price was so much more affordable than what we saw nearby. On top of that, the house itself has a cute balcony that overlooks Grand Lake and is walking distance to all of the local shops and restaurants. I cannot recommend choosing Western Riviera enough. Thank you for the clean cute space with lots of little touches!

This place is magical. Welcome to a real life hallmark town. Me and my wife have been here more times than we can count. Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring, Western Riviera and the town of Grand Lake has something special to offer in every single season.

The following Winter we rented Snow Mobiles, went Snow Shoeing, went Snow Tubing, and watched the local ice fishers catch fish, and watched how the town transformed into this quiet peaceful place compared to how it is in the summer. SO MAGICAL in the winter months.

Great stay! Morgan was especially friendly, welcoming and helpful during our entire stay. She gave us ideas, what was open vs closed, where to visit, what to eat, etc. It made a world of a difference. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy. Views of lake Spectacular! Thank you Morgan and the family at Western Riv! We will def be back in the future, can'r WAIT for summer!

Thoroughly enjoyed this motel. Becca was kind enough to help get us get road conditions to get us to motel due to snow that was coming in. She checked report and was kind enough to call me back to help us through. She also recommended a restaurant that did not disappoint I knew this was a nice place before I got there. A beautiful view of the lake. Rooms not extravagant but extremely clean and comfy and affordable!! It was such a nice town with restaurants ands shopping within very close walking distance. They even gave us beach towels to take to the nearby hot springs. Ended up staying

I was planning a huge birthday celebration for my wife in Grand Lake. I found Western Rivera on the internet and thought it looked really nice, then I called them. I was blown away by the customer service!!! Not only did they advise me on the best room for my surprise, they helped me make the surprise even better by putting the room under my wife's friends name, suggested the most amazing dinner location, and the florist. I was able to get the three most critical pieces completed in a phone call. Then they even helped my Father-in-Law and Sister-in-Law secure a room at the last minute since

I come up to lake granby every year for ice fishing and this is hands down the best place that I have stayed, everyone is kind and bends over backwards to take care of the guests! They have nice little cabins with everything you need to spend your days out fishing and come back and relax, even a grill on the deck with an amazing view of the lake!! My personal favorite is the tree house condo, queen and king bed full kitchen!! And an elevated view of the lake!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is a complete dump. Staff aren't helpful at all. Place is small. It's cramped and disgusting. Bed spread is brown and awful. The shower wall is rotting and leaking out blue. It's a complete dump. We're still in the middle of our stay and for our bad living quarters it cost over $350. Not worth the time or money.

Stayed at the Lakeside Cabins for two nights. Never again. While the staff was helpful, there was no way they could fix the problems.
1. Kitchenette stove had a sign "Out of order do not use".
2 Black mold in the bathroom.
3 No A/C.
4. The bathroom is designed for small people. I am 6'-2", the shower head was at the height of my throat. The bathroom sink height was above my knees. If you are short and skinny, this will not be a problem
5. The bed was hard and made a strange noise when you rolled in it. Could it be stuffed with paper?
6. No curtains.
7. No telephone.

I just paid $190 for a run down suite and the worst night. The motel was in front of an alley and on the other side a restaurant, at midnight there was a large commotion woke the entire room including the residents upstairs. When we informed the front desk clerk she said it was a bear, I know what a bear looks like and there was no bear. She gave a subpar apology and that was it. The lake and activities I give 5 stars this rundown motel 1 star. We will be making this a yearly event but not at this place.

We stayed in the Courtyard Cabins. Adorable, rustic room with all the cooking amenities you need. The check-in staff were really friendly and there is parking close to the room. Cable and wi-fi available. The only downside was the mattress on the bed - obviously old and a bit saggy. If you have a bad back, this isn't a good option. But it's so close to Grand Ave and everything else was so great that we would definitely stay here again. We also used a Groupon so the price was just right!
