Almost 25 years ago, Eddy Jabbour introduced corporate San Diego to his premier Breakfast, Lunch and Catering venues known as Eddy M's. We come here almost every weekend for brunch since we moved to the area a few months ago. From the coffee to the food, everything is fresh and yummy. My fiancee gets the bagel w/ lox on an everything. Always crisp and the fish taste fresh. I have gotten a couple of their hot sandwiches like the chicken artichoke which is amazing but my go to is their Breakfast Club sandwich. Crispy bacon and gooey cheese for the win.
Regarding drinks, i had the coconit Carmel Macchiato once and it has been my go to since then. It is so good and their espresso does not taste burnt or off like other places.

My husband and I have been here a few times and it is now our go to for a coffee and espresso during our days off together. Not too far from us which I like. My husband has been in search of a good espresso. We haven't had success in many places we have visited but this place is one of the top we've tried. The coffee they have is great and the espresso wasn't sour like most we've tried. I also like the chocolate peanut butter frappe and mocha they have. Really tasty and delicious. The avocado toast is also a really good option for breakfast. Everything we've tried here

A solid place to get a bite. I ordered some grub online. It was ready for me to pick up at the place near the front counter for on-line orders. I started off by ordering their almondigas soup to see if it was going to be worth trying other things. When I got back to my office, I was solidly surprised by the quality and homemade taste of this soup. They did not skimp on the ingredients. Everything tasted fresh and yummy. Very well seasoned and not overly salty.
I'd be back to try more things. Easy parking right in front of the restaurant. Some seating inside.

Not only is the staff amazing and super friendly, the food and drinks are equally amazing! I had the matcha green tea I will say it was was the best I've had. I loved my vegan toast as well.
The menu options is great. So much to pick from and is really a one stop shop.
I live in Poway and my only regrets is that wishing I knew about this place sooner.
Definitely have my recommendation... I have a feeling I will be a regular here :)

I LOVE their Elmisa toast! Perfection! I have been getting delivery from Elmisa for a little over a year. Today was the first time I visited in real life. Such a cute clean welcoming Cafe! Plus, it smelled SO GOOD in there! The ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I would appreciate some gluten free bread options.
I have tried 3 different salads, all delicious. Acai bowls, almost as good as ever bowl. Yummy coffee! Such a great addition to RB! SUPPORT LOCAL!

On 9/22/21 I placed an online order via Pressed for fresh juices. I ordered over $100 worth of juices. Unfortunately, many of the juices included in my order were past the "Best If Used By Dates" of 9/16/21. How can you sell a product past the Used By Date?
Clearly, I'm very disappointed.

Update: It turns out that lunch at Elmisa Cafe is just as good as breakfast. I had a Mama Mia because it sounded so mouthwateringly good. (And I've had Italian on the brain lately after re-watching The Sopranos on HBO Max.)
The Mama Mia was more than good. Lots of awesome salty meat and crispy fresh veggies. I asked for arugula instead of lettuce and they graciously substituted. (Thank you.)
The place was packed by the way so you know it's a good spot, which I already knew after my first experience.
This time around I paid more attention to my surroundings and noticed these open-faced

Nice spot in RB. The coffee isn't the greatest compared to others in San Diego. I felt like there was no passion in coffee making here. But there is ample indoor and outdoor seating to sit with some friends or study.

Got the food delivered (via doordash) and it was great!!
Salad with fresh mozzarella - good but idk nothing special? imagine a prepared salad from whole foods where the ingredients are definitely good but not a salad you would crave
chicken artichoke panini - great! would get again. Creamy and rich yet balanced with a healthy feel
bagel with cream cheese, spinach and tomatoes - this stole the show!! Love how generous they were with the cream cheese and thought the bagel was super solid - would go out of my way to get this again!

Yum! My order from Door Dash came to me fast and piping hot so I was already impressed by that. Now onto the food!
I ordered a breakfast club which had bacon, egg, arugula, avocado, mozzarella, pesto aioli on brioche. The egg was cooked to a perfect medium as I requested and it made for the quite the tasty meal with the addition of the other ingredients. I'd definitely order this again. I also ordered the Feta Pesto Pasta which was light and refreshing.
I really need to stop by and visit the physical location soon as I ordered it for delivery so I can't really comment on the service

We came here for brunch for Mother's Day. To save time, we ordered via the app, but somehow did but receive the 15% first-time discount. The restaurant is in a small corner of a somewhat busy street, and it has indoor and some outdoor seating. Given the nice day we sat outdoor at an umbrella covered table.

Elmisa Cafe... where have you been all my life?!? So glad to have made your acquaintance... you'd like to offer me super yummy food at reasonable prices?? Well then... I think we are a match made in Heaven!
On the serious side... this was my first visit and here are my thoughts:
1. RB Açaí Bowl.. it's fantastic.. I didn't feel cheated like I have felt at other places that put only 3 pieces of banana and 1 strawberry on their bowls... this place loaded me up and adding extras (I like almond butter and chia seeds) was easy and priced right.
2. Elmisa Avocado Toast.. wow..

Wow... hands down this cafe blew me away. My coworkers have told me that this place is good, they get it for lunch often. I had a feeling it was good because of their frequency but I thought it was also just the convince since it's down the street from Westwood elementary!
I have had their coffee and it was great but honestly this tuna sandwich is the best tuna sandwich I've had. The bread was delicious, tuna was flavorful and the pickled onion complimented the overall sandwich so well!
10/10. I will be back for more!!

I've driven past this small plaza plenty of times, and unbeknownst to me, an amazing little cafe was just on the other side of the sushi restaurant whose name has changed more times than I can remember.
