I want to Thank Dr. Prasad at Muir Eye care for getting me in on a Emergency visit. I had never seen him before but he was highly recommended by my Personal Physician ( who has been my Dr for almost 30 yrs.)He was booked but still graciously saw me and took alot of time to make sure my sight was ok and he saved me a trip to the Emergency Dept. His staff was so kind. I will be going back and I will recommend him. Thank you again.

My first time here and actually the first time at an ophthalmologist (vs. optometrist). The staff and doctors were very professional (and patient with me). I was the last appointment on Friday and they took their time to check my eyes carefully. I highly recommend them and will be bringing the rest of my family here. Why I am giving Muir Eye 5 stars. My overall experience with the doctors and staff was great. Dr Prash and staff provided excellent care and service. From the moment I arrived they outlined the steps showed me videos on cataract surgery and offered several options. Then the appointments were made for each eye four weeks apart. The surgeries were flawless and follow ups for each eye were the next day after surgery. I had a three month follow up appointment as well. I now have 20/20 vision. I highly recommend Muir Eye Care they are really great

Dr. Prasad is knowledgeable, polite, kind, helpful and intuitive to his patients needs. He doesn't just hear his patients speak, he actually listens. I saw several doctors trying to figure out why I was getting such bad migraines and why my eyes continued to burn after several tests and doctors promising that there was nothing wrong. After seeing Dr. Prasad, him running tests and me explaining to him my health history, he immediately referred me to a sleep doctor. He asked me, "have you ever been tested for sleep apnea". Waited 2.5 hours... 2.5 HOURSSSSS... checked in, waited 30 mins, then moved to another room, waited another 1 hr. Then dilated, waited again...
Was seen only to be diagnosed w Migraine.
I understand it was a last minute appt, but was NOT aware of how long the waiting period will take.
NEVER returning to this office again!
I have noticed this clinic dont just double book, they do multiple bookings at the same appt time. How can you run a business when your patients have to wait for such a LONGGGGGG period of time.

These folks, Dr Miller and Dr Prasad are just about the most thorough eye docs I've ever been to . Walk me through what they are going to do , why they are doing it and what they expect to see . If something is not quite right they move toward fixing that . They are my go to and thankful they are just up the road

Came here as my eyes were swollen. It took 2 hrs from start to finish and that didn't include dialation a i opted to not do that. It was a lot of waiting in the exam room. Conclusion was i had an eye allergy. Recommended drops. The staff is very nice though. Giving three stars cuz of the wait. 2 hrs is excessive.

Dr. Prasad is an excellent doctor and human being. He looked at my swollen eye, which had been diagnosed by another ophthalmologist as an "eyebrow sag that required cosmetic work" and sent me immediately to John Muir Emergency, suspecting lymphoma. I got diagnosed accurately, thanks to him. (It was a strange infected lacrimal gland) He also detected a developing glaucoma condition and immediately started preventive (and successful) treatment. He follows up with me religiously and personally. Can't recommend him highly enough. Staff great too!

I found Dr Prasad through my insurance coverage many years ago and have been very pleased with the services. Sitting here with my eyes dilated, hoping I don't mistype. Haha. I've received the best care here. Dr. Prasad has always been very thorough, very pleasant and kind during my exams. He explains everything through my evaluations, so that I feel comfortable with the results. His associates and staff have always been helpful and professional. I noticed I had a very red eye one day after playing golf...and I thought the wind stirred up my allergies. I woke the next day with severe light sensitivity and pain in that eye. I saw my PCP who referred me to Dr. Prasad at Muir Eye Care. They couldn't get me in that day, but they made a late appointment for me the next day to fit me in, and he diagnosed me with Iritis. I got an Rx, and within an hour my symptoms were alleviated.
It came back, but I jumped on it and saw Dr. Prasad who had a work up (blood tests, etc.) done, and while the results came back with a potential medical indicator

Dr. Prasad and his staff are outstanding. As a 50+ year old patient, I was having difficulty with reading and struggled with reading glasses. Dr. Prasad set me up with monovision contacts, and now I no longer need my readers! Dr. Prasad is so great that I drive from San Jose to Concord, to ensure the best care for my eyes. I really like the staff and Dr. Prasad but when you have a 90 year old mother, it is just wrong to expect a 90 year old with low energy and stamina to wait 45 minutes before getting in to see an associate. Then she has to wait another 25 minutes while her eyes dilate, it takes all her energy. I will be transferring her to another physician where their appointments start on time . It is rude and inconsiderate.

Dr. Prasad is a genius! I have been going to Muir Eye Care for 8 years, and I would not trust my eyes to anyone else. Recently (getting older stinks) I have been suffering from the worst dry eye I have ever had, so Dr. Prasad suggested I try temporary Oasis plugs, they block one of my tear ducts and l don't wake up with my eyelid stuck to my eye - no medication - no drops! I was sceptical which is why we started with the temporary ones but now I want the permanent plugs and when I go back for my follow up I am getting them!
