Review update! Dr Liu is back as my doctor and I have zero complaints about this place other than it's hard to get "immediate" appointments because they are popular :) However, as long as you're looking 1.5-2 weeks out then you should be good! Been able to visit over pandemic and felt safe, could also correspond with them regarding my prescription electronically which has been so helpful!

These guys are wonderful to work with! They made sure I was happy with all my new prescription glasses. I am obsessed with moscot frames and it took me a long time to decide which ones. I am very happy with all of them and am counting the days until my vsp benefits start up again. Highly recommend this shop! I'll see you again in March.

I just finished my first appointment with Dr. Liu and the team... the are amazing!! They were on time... which was surprisingly pleasing!! The office admin and the technician were both friendly and knowledgeable. All of the equipment was top quality and they were on-top of all COVID protocols. Dr. Liu took time to educate me and explain my options.Did I mention, they have parking too???!! I am so very happy to call Dr. Liu my new eye doc!!!

Apparently this is Dr Liu's practice and he takes pride in it and his warmth and expertise shows. EXCELLENT BEDSIDE MANNER!! I was pretty zoned out from a stressful day/phase of life and he just went along with his super friendly, chipper way which boosted my mood. A little bit of unexpected therapy along with a great eye exam! Straight forward and efficient communication. Love the music in the background on the Sonos speakers and the greenhouse in the bathroom. His office staff is great and the office is clean!

They are quick to respond to emails and requests. They are on time with their appointments and wait no longer than a couple of minutes to be seated in the back. Dr. Liu explains everything quite well and answers any of your questions. He truly cares and wants to ensure that the patient is comfortable.

My husband has now made 5 trips to this place and he still doesn't have the lenses we purchased for his existing Tom Ford frames over 6 weeks ago! I should have known we were in for trouble when I overheard another customer picking up his glasses asking, "Should my lenses be blurry?!?" This conversation happened during our first visit to the store.
After paying for his lenses he was asked to return numerous times for different measurements. The lenses finally arrived over a month later after we purchased them

Very helpful, friendly, and patient stuff. I needed help with new lenses and frame adjustment over the shelter-in-place order and they were very helpful and professional. I was having some issues that were really concerning me and causing a lot of stress. I called this morning to see if I could possibly be seen sooner than a few weeks out, because their online calendar was booked up. They were able to accommodate me later the same day which I really appreciated.
I arrived a little early, barely sat down for a minute before they were ready. Everyone was really nice and I was in and out with a new prescription in less than an hour which included me being indecisive with my frame choice.
The facilities were very clean and modern. I'd highly recommend.

I chose this place because of ALL the AMAZING REVIEWS and the CONVENIENCE of it being right next to my work... day of my appointment I arriver 12mins early. I walked around and was trying on frames.. the technician who was working in the front had a customer, however, he did not even acknowledge me, nor say hello. Literally I walked around and tried on glasses for ~10 minutes with no single word to me. 2 minutes before my appointment he asks me if I am here for an appointment. I said yes, and he said someone will be with me shortly.

I also got my glasses there afterward. They figured out all the insurance stuff without a hitch and without any work on my end. It was by far the best experience I had when it comes to purchasing my glasses through insurance.

Before visiting Bay Bridge Optometry, I'd been going to the same Optometrist for over a decade. I really liked my eye doctor. They don't have a huge selection of frames, but it's large enough to have variety, they're very nice quality, and they're more than happy to order any frames for you.

I was putting on my contacts this morning, when one of them ripped in my eye. So I had part of a contact lens in my eye, that was difficult to find.
I dropped by the office, because it was close to where I worked and told them my situation. The doctor was all booked for the day, but the wonderful ladies at the front desk were incredibly knowledgeable and really wanted to help me.
They gave me some eye solution and a contact lens hand guide. I got back, and was able to successfully removed the contact piece from

I recently moved to the Bay Area and made an appointment here based on the rave reviews for Dr. Liu. Three hours before my appointment, I received a text saying that my appointment would be with Dr. Caleb Poon. There's no mention of any doctor other than Dr. Liu anywhere on their website and I didn't see Dr. Poon's credentials or license anywhere in their office (is that even legal?). When I mentioned it to the receptionist, all she said was that he was new. I went with it anyway as I really needed an exam to get a new contact prescription and the office is close by.

Dr. Liu is a really cool optometrist. He's very informative. He fielded all my questions and explained eye-related things to me succinctly. I felt educated after my first appointment. He's also resourceful. He knows and recommends a LASIK eye surgeon if interested.

Dr. Liu and his staff have created a great environment and service at Bay Bridge Optometry. Dr. Liu really takes his time with a thorough and efficient evaluation of your eyes. I was able to trial two options for contact lenses which really opened up my eyes (pun intended) to a more comfortable contact than what I had been wearing. I initially chose Bay Bridge Optometry, because it was close to my office and on my vision plan. Since it was brand new, they didn't have many reviews, so I went in with fingers crossed. I'm glad I did, as every interaction I've had has been stellar. The staff are warm and wonderful, and Dr. Liu is friendly, capable and has been extremely generous with helping me figure out which contact lenses to get, providing me with multiple free samples of different brands, suggesting ways to help save money. I'm so glad they came to the neighborhood. Three thumbs up!

Very friendly staff! I felt welcomed in. I didn't feel pressured into buying glasses like some optometrists have made me feel before. I left with my script for glasses if I chose to buy them elsewhere. The eye exam where he checked the eye health was very through. I've been other places where they just look and say its all good. This exam felt complete to me and I trust that he really checked my eye health.

What an OUTSTANDING optometry! Came in for a long overdue check-up and was immediately drawn in by the warm welcome of the receptionist, awesome selection of frames, and cool decor. LOVE that it's dog-friendly, too, so go ahead and bring in Fido.
