I'm not a huge fan of going to the dentist. Who is, really? But the team at Revive was exceptional. They were upfront and transparent about costs and insurance. They were warm and welcoming. And the cleaning and exam was comfortable and thorough. I was also interested in some cosmetic procedures (whitening) and they explained every option to me WITHOUT pushing the services. I've finally found a dentist that I'll stick with forever!

Doctor and staff very professional! Very thankful my internet search led me to this "Revive Dental" office. One stop dentistry for everything from cleaning to surgery and cosmetics.

The medical staff and doctor were wonderful to deal with. The advance tech to diagnosis with 3d imaging was impressive and made me feel more comfortable in understanding treatment recommendations. My only complaint is that when the numbing stopped I realized that the side of lip and inside had be badly cut probably from the instrument used to put in the the crown. It is healing now many days later but was very uncomfortable.

Like some other reviews here, on my first (and only) visit, the dental hygienist tried to upsell me on additional cleaning without making me aware of additional costs toward insurance. Then, when Dr. Mortazie saw me, he went on in great detail and depth about my dental issues - cavities, grinding at night, receding gumline and recommended a mouth guard and Invisalign. Shocking news for someone who regularly sees the dentist and has never heard this depth of issues before. Before spending thousands of dollars, I requested my records for a 2nd opinion from a dentist from my hometown who I’ve seen

I went to Dr. Mortazie and he explained to me that my gums were in such poor shape without some extremely expensive therapies I would be at serious risk of losing my teeth over time. I was shocked and scared and confused since I'd never been told I had particularly bad gums. I asked him how sure he was that if I didn't do something soon I'd lose my teeth eventually and he said it's just a matter of time.

I went to my childhood dentist for a second opinion and she looked at my gums and said she had absolutely no idea what Dr. Mortazie was talking about. Recently I went to another

Revive Dentisty is a wonderful, caring place. They put the patient's needs first, always, and don't mind taking the time to explain the process, answering questions and going into great detail. I've been going to Revive Dentistry for more than 10 years and have never been dissatisfied.

I have spent the last year fighting a surprise dental bill from Revive for a crown I had put in last year. I was quoted and paid one number after the appointment (which my insurance company said was more than I should have paid to begin with) and then was surprisingly billed an additional 500 dollars. My insurance company and I called them multiple times to tell them I was not responsible for the payment but the bills continued to show up every couple months, and it would start all over again. It's been incredibly frustrating, and I feel like they are intentionally misleading/uncommunicative

I’m new in town ,only visited Revive once for cleaning and regular check ,the team was very nice and professional ,I was happy about the service .
They told me I have bad gum issue, periodontal ,urgently need a deep cleaning and some cavities needs to be filled .I was surprised because I was never aware of my gum issue ,my previous dentists usually say I have good oral health.the estimated cost is about 1500$,and I need to pay almost all of it from my pocket .
I didn’t make the decision that day and I enrolled in a different dental insurance after the number study, unfortunately they are not

I almost never write Yelp reviews, and then only positive ones, so I'm not happy to write this one.

I visited Revive on three occasions, first on an urgent appointment after my tooth was chipped, then to have a crown placed (after Dr. Mortazie examined me on the initial visit and pointed at that an old filling was deteriorating), and finally to have a root canal performed under the crown after I continued to have pain there. I have no complaints about the care, which I can only assume was appropriate, although I suppose it may have been a red flag that this nicely appointed office had no

Revive was my dental spot while I lived in Dc almost 4 years ago. Last year, after having left the DC area for almost 3 years, I got a call from the receptionist that I owed money. This seemed odd since I always payed for my treatments the day off but of course I was happy to pay any amount I owed. I asked if I could be emailed a copy of the bill and after some back and forth agreed to email me a bill then nothing. I didn't get the email then called to ask about the bill but got no answer and no returned call. Now, one year later, I get a bill saying that I was sent to collections? It feels

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST or her husband. I was given an improper diagnosis, was scared that I had many issues which were disproved by my former dentist, was nearly charged $1500 (post insurance coverage) in work - then was sent incorrect X rays of another patient's mouth after being lied to consecutively on the phone. I can't caution other patients enough - stay away from this dentist.

Dr. Yazdani is rude, unprofessional, and frankly, it is completely disgraceful that she has the title of "doctor" in regard to anything. Don't waste your time with her and her practice.

Don't even dare to go there without insurance. We were ripped off at least twice having only Careington dental plan this dentistry claims to participate, it ended up with $1k for screening and two fillings. The person in front desk suddenly became rude once we attempted to find out any reasonable explanations of that. On the bright side I have no complains on the quality of the service itself.

Honestly, I really didn't want to get to this point, but I wanted to talk about my experience. They have a nice, clean office, and easy scheduling. The dentist is fairly nice, but there were some troubling things.

About a year ago, I went in for an appointment about pain in my wisdom tooth. They were able to give me x-rays and let me know that I had cavities and should have them removed by an oral surgeon. At the same time, they told me that my gums were basically decaying and I need loads of expensive treatments to fix it. They handed me what is essentially a sales brochure telling me about

Dr. Mortazie showed me photos they took of the inside of my mouth on a large TV and he explained my dental situation in terms I could understand. Additionally, the crew at Revive offered me multiple treatment options that varied in price which enabled me to choose a treatment that fit my budget. Everyone there was polite, respectful, and flexible. This was the most comprehensive dental care I've ever received.

I don't feel great about posting this negative review because Dr. Mortazie was really nice, as were the reception staff and dental assistants. I went to Revive Dentistry because a filling fell out and was causing me pain. Revive was the only office that would take me on such short notice. I thought it would be a simple fix, but Dr. Mortazie recommended a crown. The diagnosis wasn't the problem. The problem was how much they wanted to charge me.

The receptionist (not the dentist) was sent in to give me "the pitch" about the crowns they make in-house on a 3D printer, which was

My review mirrors many of those below. I made an appointment for a cleaning, but instead received a well-rehearsed, hard sell for an expensive procedure. And then I left... without a cleaning!

Like other reviewers, I subsequently visited another dentist, who said that I did not need the procedure that Revive insisted I did. I have phoned my insurance company to convey my concern about this in-network provider.

I went for a cleaning at Revive dentistry and the hygienist, Melody Ghaffari, did an excellent job. She took x-rays, evaluated my teeth and gums, and measured all the pockets, then did a thorough cleaning with nearly no pain whatsoever. She spent a good time explaining the situation and the needed follow-up treatment that I have to undergo. I feel the experience was quite positive.

My experience so far with revive dentistry has been nothing but thorough and wonderful. I feel like atmosphere is inviting and that with all of my treatments I have been in good hands. I encourage anyone in the area that might require a dental check up and get a consultation. The staff is friendly and warm but also informative. I also feel like my treatment has been individualized and never once felt like i have been rushed along.
Once again if you are looking for a dentist I strongly recommend revive.

Avoid this place if you value your wallet and/or teeth. Like others here I let them talk me into things I didn't need. And like others here I gave them way more of my money once the bill came than I had been expecting.

Every time it was $80 here, $400 there, and they convince you it's all necessary (tip: most of it isn't if you're young and relatively healthy). The last straw was when they wanted over $2000 of my money for an operation that I went to TWO oral surgeons and they both agreed was unnecessary and highly unusual to do in my case!

I recently went to see Dr. Mortazie at the Cleveland Park location for the first time. This office is a small satellite office, and is located across the street from the Cleveland park metro station (convenient). Dr. Mortazie and his assistant are very professional and friendly. I hadn't been to the dentist in several years, so I had to have a little extra work done over the course of three visits. Although going to the dentist is never pleasant, Dr. Mortazie makes it as pleasant as possible. He's very warm and friendly, and also knows a lot about neuromuscular dentistry.
