While the brand is best known for its off-road prowess, they also offer some of the best bang for the buck in the on-road categories! While the pandemic has delayed the launch of many new products, the models that have launched have been super exciting!
Like us on Facebook, and if your bike is located within a mile of our shop, pick-up and drop off are free! Send us an email before 6 PM the prior day, and we will confirm pick-up time and location. If you have special pick up time needs, no problem, just let us know a full day in advance. We will contact you with the final bill amount.
Vintage is the pinnacle of cool. We love them all but are especially fond of the 1984/1985 Raleigh Racing USA models. These steel frames were built in emulation of the 1984 US Olympic Team bikes, and were fully chromed before their final paint was applied. The "pop" of the paint and chrome is incredible.

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Hermosa Cyclery! The entire crew is: 1) friendly; 2) super-efficient; and 3) very fair with their pricing! Reliable bikes with an optional basket for goodies. Variable pricing for how "fancy" of a bike you want to rent, too! They have a free air station right outside for all to use to keep their bikes safe and properly inflated. The shop is a tad tucked away, but worth the effort to track down. Will definitely return for another fun day up and down the beach!

Today I went to LaBrea Bike Works and Mike was simply amazing! He immediately dropped what he was doing to help me after I walked in. He efficiently evaluated my bike, aired up my tires, and made a couple minor adjustments - for no charge. He also answered some general questions I had about cycling.
He was efficient, professional, attentive, nice - and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. This is definitely my new go to shop for all my bike repair needs! Thank you for being such a great, helpful guy, Mike!

I brought my rad power bike to get an attachment screwed in for my dog's cargo wagon. I wasn't sure if they would even accommodate me since I know how busy they are. This young man (forgot to get his name) stopped what he was doing and helped me out. This to me is great service! He didn't hesitate to help out. We will definitely be back to purchase accessories and utilize their tune up services! They are open after 5pm which is even better since most bike shops close at 5.

I've been to this shop twice both during quarantine. The first time I went it was to purchase a helmet. They had great prices and variety. The next time I needed a tuneup on my bike. The gentleman in the shop let me know that they were working about a week behind as clearly everyone is riding their bikes right now. Went in to buy a quick-release for my front wheel. Mike and a young guy helped me pick the one I was looking for. Didn't try to sell me a kit which was higher in price, instead sold me just the piece I needed for under $5.
I returned today to get the bike tuned-up, and got the same friendly service leaving my bike. Mike checked and confirmed in-front of me I didn't need any other parts at that moment. I got a text about 5hrs. later that it was ready.
The young man (sorry didn't ask his name) informed me of a little glitch the bike has but happens occasionally and didn't try to sell me a new part

THIS BIKE SHOP SAVED MY LIFE! Was right in the middle of a ride with a bunch of buddies and had already gone through the spare tubes we had. Unfortunately I was the one to get a flat next and looked up the nearest bike shop to me and found these guys open on a SUNDAY! Helped me out with my flat right on the spot and had me on my way! I got a bike from the floor at Target and it was obviously lot tuned or properly assembled! I came to the shop and the attended to me swiftly. Great suggestions and service as I also needed some accessories! Boom 2 short hours later I got a text from Mike that the bike was ready. It was like a totally different bike Mejia, great ride, great shifting and braking!

I called this shop asking about warranty work for my electric bike and the guy who answered was rude to me right off the bat. The place had good reviews so I waited all weekend hoping to bring the bike here, but after 5 minutes on the phone with this guy, I'll never bring a bike here.

Had a vintage road bike that needed a good bit of work on it. These guys tuned up, cleaned up, and gave a lot of love to repair a bike days ahead of schedule. This bike has been a great aide win keeping me active when there is no access to a gym. The even made a quick repair for a operator error. Really passionate guys in the cycle community.

Ended up being 40 bucks for a new tire & the service. He even took the time to lube my chain and tune up my brakes! Also gave me a heads up on some small issues I might want to keep an eye on.
I was in and out in under 20 minutes. These guys rock.

Dropped my bike off for a tune up. It was a bike I casually use 1x per month and purchased off craigslist years ago. Long story short, I hadn't given it any maintenance since I purchased.
Mike went above and beyond and got my bike into really nice shape (he clearly knows his stuff). Customer service was spot on. They texted me for approval before replacing parts.
They seem to be really busy during Covid, so plan accordingly.

This place is great. I came in for a flat and they stopped what they were doing to fix it really fast and even gave me a mini tune-up. They also gave me a new valve cover. Very friendly and know what they're doing. Another guy came in briefly while I was there, just for air, and they happily helped him out. Quality people here.
