Dublin Animal Hospital was first established by Dr. Greer in 1948 and served the veterinary needs of both large and small animals until 1954 when the practice was purchased by Dr. Lewis Springer.In 1957, Dr. David Stanley was hired as an associate veterinarian to assist in handling the growing case load.

Services
Dublin Animal Hospital has four exam rooms and a five station treatment area. Patients needing wellness exams and routine vaccines and services can be seen by appointment or dropped off in the morning and picked up in the afternoon. Patients with illness are preferred to be seen by appointment.
Dublin Animal Hospital has a high quality surgical suite where anesthesized patients have body temperature, oxygenation, heart and respiration rates constantly monitored by a licensed veterinary technician.Our veterinarians have extensive experience in routine and emergency surgical procedures. Dublin Animal Hospital offers safe and comfortable boarding facilities for dogs, cats, avians and exotic pets.

Dr. Mary May has lived in the New River Valley for more than 30 years. She received her B.S. in Biology from Virginia Tech and her DVM degree from The Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medine. She has two grown children, a daughter in Florida and a son in Maine. Her special interests are wildlife rehabilitation and Avian and Exotic pets.

I took my very old sick cat In to be euthanized and they put her to sleep first and allowed me to spend as much time with her as I wanted while she went to sleep before the euthanasia, it was over immediately no movement or suffering at all ..I will never go anywhere else but here! Thanks you guys for being so kind!!

Our cat was injured really bad we showed up at their doorstep needing help.they were very nice and saw us unfortunately we had to put our cat down. They were very nice, compassionate and understanding we will definitely use them again.

One of the best vets in the area. They paid attention to the symptoms my dog was experiencing..ran some tests and found she had a large growth that looked very suspicious. Surgery was done the next day and the growth was removed and sent out to VT vet med school. Which it was determined she had cancer. I am thankful they caught this when they did. She is now doing much better. Highly recommend!

We simply adore dr.bruck. ranger my lab is the size of half horse, experienced some trauma one afternoon. Our normal vet was not available on this particular evening due to flooding in our local area. She never hesitated about taking us straight in. From the moment we arrived 5 staff members came out to help transfer him from our vehicle to the stretcher took him straight in and that's where dr. Bruck was awaiting our arrival. Without hesitation she started working with ranger and accessing his injuries. My fur babies are like my children so my anxiety was pretty high when I had to take him
