Our check in process for room 202 was not the greatest. Firstly, the office hours are Monday through Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to Noon, if you arrive after the office is closed, you need to go to the Sanibel Island Beach Resort’s office to pick up your key and parking pass. They claim it is “next door” but unless you plan on walking through the hedges to get to their front office, it is more like a street away. So if you are coming from Periwinkle Way/the Causeway, make a left onto Donax Street, then once you hit the 3 way stop at Middle Gulf Drive, go straight across to what appears

The best place on Sanibel to stay! We have been coming for years and love it so much. Patricia in the office is super helpful and accommodating. If you have a lot of people I recommend renting 2 units. The units is the perfect size for 2-4 adults. The beach is amazing and there is plenty to do. I highly recommend Sanibel Siesta!

The staff and maintenance at Sanibel Siesta was top notch all the way. We rented 305 overlooking the pool and were very impressed by the daily grounds maintenance in rain or shine. Our condo was perfectly suited for a family of four. We enjoyed cooking in and sitting on the screened porch at night. The beach is a stones throw away. We loved renting the bicycles and riding all over the island. Don't let the dated exterior fool you, this place is beautifully renovated! We hope to come back sometime.

Sanibel Siesta is a wonderful place to stay on Sanibel. Best locations are in the buildings closest to the beach, where the views are amazing and the water is only steps away. You are close to great restaurants and shopping, and can reach all of these via bike paths without ever getting into your car. The beach is wide and rarely ever crowded. Units are spacious; living areas are large, as are the bedrooms (all units have two bedrooms.). Lanais provide wonderful outdoor space, where we always eat our meals.

I stayed at Sanibel Siesta for the first time on July 11-15th in room 306. The front desk people are so kind and respectful. The condominium are very family oriented, calm and trustworthy. It is clean and organized, has a kitchen and utensils, extra pillows, blankets, towels and a pull out bed. The balcony view faced the pool and had tables and chairs to sit out there and it was absolutely beautiful. Sanibel Siesta is walking distance to the beach and you have your own garage with beach chairs and floating gear to take to the beach. You can rent bikes and ride around the island which was fun to

I was searching for Condo's to get married. I called Sanibel Siesta and had the best phone experience, which led to me booking these condo's above all else. I spoke with Sarah, the Office Manager, she told me we could use any part of their beach to get married and anything else for the wedding. After the great customer service and friendly phone conversation we decided to book. She found us a condo close to the beach front and it was very reasonably priced for the length of stay. We also received a good discount for booking 5 rooms for family.

This is our second year at unit 608, beautifully decorated and with waterfront view. I can't think of a better way to spend my Mother's Day .. The staff are all so pleasant and helpful with references of things to do. The condominium clean and grounds well maintained . A perfect trip to relax and enjoy with perfect location

I recently stayed here for 3 nights with my mother, my aunt and my uncle. We were in building 3 which is I believe the 3rd (could be 2nd) building from the water. We had a nice view on the balcony of the pond/courtyard area and the pool. It was difficult to find a condo that will rent to you for less than a week so this was exactly what we were looking for. The condo had everything we needed as far as cooking goes! There were also lots of chairs and 2 umbrellas (which were all in excellent condition) for us to use. We will be back! Thanks!
