The tools available with this technology enable Dr. Connaughton and Dr. Bator to reduce the risk of treatments as well as plan surgical care with more accuracy. Since Tree City Family Dental also employs CEREC, implant placement is guided by the optimal placement of final restoration. The final restoration is designed on CEREC, and this information is used to plan the precise placement of implants.
CEREC is a multi-instrument system that allows dentists to create and implant custom-fitted ceramic restorations in a single appointment. The system consists of an infrared digital camera, a computer with 3D imaging software, and a milling unit with diamond blades for quick, precise, and highly detailed construction of restorations.
At Tree City Family Dental, our dentists and team take every precaution to keep you safe and to minimize any potential risks associated with your dental care. Dr. Connaughton and Dr. Bator will recommend a personal care plan that takes into account your specific dental risks so we may determine an appropriate X-ray frequency that takes potential risks and benefits into account.

My time with Tree City Family Dental has been the best dental experience I have ever had. Erica always remembers my name, and not just because of my celebrity status (Biosphere). She always does an AMAZING JOB! Dr. C, Dr. B, and the new Dr. are all top notch and always on the forefront of new dental technology and practice. They even have water cups! I will definitely continue to go to Tree City Family Dental for their well-run office, spectacular service, and friendly and knowledgable staff.

Tree City Family Dental is The Best! From front desk check in and after appointment care everyone was informative, friendly, and welcoming. My hygienist was eccellent, professional, explained procedure and finding thoroughly, and did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. My dentist made me feel comfortable and was easy to discuss plans for my dental needs. He had my best interest in mind with suggestions for different options that i could choose and ideas that he thought would work the best. It was a wonderful visit. My dental needs are in the best care.

The staff Is kind and helpful. I appreciated the care and professionalism they showed for me and themselves with covid protocols. Nothing over the top, just common sense wearing masks and following CDC guidelines. We went to doctor Dr. C years ago when he started. Glad to be back in capable carrying hands.

This is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Every single person that I’ve met here has been so kind, caring, skilled, and reassuring. The dental hygienists and doctors do a great job explaining what they’re doing and take great care to make sure you’re not in any pain. I’ve had bad experiences with other dentists in the past, but the staff at tree city family dental completely put these fears to rest. Thank you for being so fantastic!

Never felt more comfortable at a dentist office before! All the staff from the busy yet kind receptionist Judi, to the comedic and reassuring hygienist Erin to the friendly and knowledgeable Dr. Whitney Bator - are genuine, professional, and incredible. All my questions were answered and some were answered before I could even ask! Such a great team - odd as it may sound, I can’t wait for my next visit!

Best dentist I've ever been to! Always flexible with scheduling appointments, the receptionists are a pleasure to interact with and always manage to bring a smile and a laugh to my face before I'm escorted back to the work area. Dr. Connaughton is a good man with great dental advice, I never feel shamed for having cavities or lacking a solid brushing routine. fantastic and fun environment with a knowledgeable team that wants the best for you and your teeth! Would highly recommend to everyone as well as for anyone who's nervous about going to the dentist for any reason I promise they will take good

Dr. Duston Connaughton, shouted on me, humiliated me and was totally out of line this morning.....
it was a great place, not anymore. I started my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Duston Connaughton, he promised a 6 month plan to fix my teeth, plan failed 3 times and now it is almost 2 years and I am still wearing trays. I understand things like this can happen and it was very hard and frustrating for me but I trusted them and did what they wanted me to do. until this morning, I told them the plan we discussed 2 weeks earlier, it did not completely matched to what he called notes and he starting shouting

I have high anxiety when it comes to dentistry so when I went to my new patient appt I was expecting the worst. From the moment I walked through the front door I was treated with such kindness and professionalism. Katie the hygienist explained everything she was doing and listened to my ramblings. Dr Bator understood my anxiety and worked really hard to alleviate any fears. Everyone here was amazing and I'm so glad to have found this place.

This dental office is my all-time favorite! Dr. Connaughton did more work than we had expected, and didn't charge me extra. He made two beautiful crowns, and they are just the temporaries, so I can't wait for my permanent crowns! They can make them while you wait, which is nice. They all do wonderful work, and none of it caused me any pain. I was so impressed by the staff there, from the office staff, to the hygienist, and the assistants. I would highly recommend them, and I've even started flossing more!!

Everyone hopes for a gentle dental visit, but Tree City consistently provides one. They regularly win Best of Boise for a reason - warm and caring staff who never push costly procedures just to pad the bill.

I have pretty messed up teeth. 3 broken, a fractured root canal and general degradation due to neglect on my part and finances. Tree city made me hopeful that I will be able to restore my dental health at a reasonable price for good value.
I was told what would be needed and the real price. And I'm good with that, believing I will receive satisfaction.

I have been searching for a good, honest dentist for awhile now and discovered this place via an acquaintance's recommendation. I have only been to this office once for a cleaning and I was very impressed. I have Delta Dental insurance and it covered all of the fees. At no point, did they attempt to up-sell me on extra services, which was great for a change. The clinic is very clean and modern and they were very punctual. I will continue to go back to this dental office for all my Dental needs.
