St. John's Retirement Village, located in Woodland, California is a nonprofit, multi-level assisted living senior care and housing community. Our mission is to honor our resident's dignity, independence, and well-being by providing a safe, supportive, and caring environment in which to live. Built specifically to accommodate the changing needs of residents, St. John's has Three levels of care from the active independent senior to those in need of dementia care.
When you or your family member needs a higher level of care, we offer Assisted Living Personal Care Units. Our studio and one-bedroom units include a kitchenette, and private bathrooms. Residents bring their own furniture and decorations to personalize their living space. We have attractive open, common areas and lovely, well-maintained interior gardens to enjoy.
Our highly trained and compassionate caregiving staff is a key feature of St. John's Memory Care. Every team member undergoes specialized training to understand dementia and Alzheimer's disease. We offer private studio rooms and private bathrooms. Resident's rooms are decorated with their furniture and decor items to make the room familiar.

I was there on Monday Morning (3/19) to see a Resident in the East Manor Wing of Memory Care and I was greeted by a sweet Indian Lady who worked there who seems to love her Job and the Residents! The other staff however never engaged with the Residents but with each other, and were on their cellphones and hid in the Med Office. I got nothing but eye rolling, and was talked down to as if I was stupid, just a lot of disrespect. I'm not going back any time soon if I can help it.
