I got here 5-10 minutes before my appointment and it has been an hour and I have yet to be seen. The front desk is extremely unprofessional. I was told over the phone that my chart was lost. How do you lose electronic medical records? Then it took them 45 minutes to figure out what happened. Then they put in the wrong dental insurance, even though I wrote my new insurance on the paperwork they give you to fill out prior. I do not recommend this dental office.

This dental office provided an amazing experience for me after years of not enjoying going to the dentist. The staff was very welcoming immediately. I use to never enjoy going to the dentist, but coming to Dentex Dental at Moyamensing has really calmed my nerves. I was scheduled in very promptly from being a walk in and will be coming back for any dental needs.

Probably a good place but whoever my dentist was idk her name bc she didnt even introduce herself n was soo rude. So unprofessional she barely.spoke at all and seemed to get mad bc i gagged alot oh well sorry cant help it. Be more professional if I do decide to even go back there i will not have that dentist again

Completely unprofessional when dealing with a patient whom I am close with, it's absolutely unacceptable to have treated someone so poorly and to embarrass them publicly and in front of other staff. Shameful to be called "professional" when you can't even read a patients history to approach a situation the right and respectful way.

After reading the reviews I was nervous but my visit was great! Eileen did an excellent job with cleaning my teeth. She also made me feel very comfortable, asking about my teeth sensitivity and overall just just did an amazing job. I then saw the doctor and they went over my X-rays in a timely matter as well! I will come back :)

These people are TERRIBLE. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL. I had a 12 noon appt. for a cleaning. There were 2 other patients when I got there, w/ 4 staffers eating in the office. 45 minutes later, the patients were brought back. And 5 more had come in. No one said a word to me until I told them I'd only scheduled an Hour 4 the cleaning. Joel Eichen - a dentist who'd been sitting there the whole time-heard me complain and DIDNT apologize, just said that "too many people want our services" Huh? He said, "come back if you have an HOUR AND A HALF"!!! ie where you can sit waiting

I originally went to another dentist office an hour prior to coming here and was quoted $3000 for a root canal and was told I needed to get it done right away. However I decided to come here for a second opinion since I was paying out of pocket and three grand seemed a bit steep. They offered me free X-ray and found that all I needed to do was to put a post in instead of a root canal and all came out to only $300. When I went in for my appointment it was a bit busy but all the staff were very friendly and courteous. I definitely highly recommend coming here and will be back in the future.

Do not go here! They just want your money. I went for a cleaning as a first-time patient. They took all my x-rays and proceed to tell me I have two cavities and need a root canal. I was surprised because I had had no pain but let them fill the "cavities". I was so skeptical about this alleged root canal, that I called my old dentist (two hours away where I used to live) and asked if I could come in for a second opinion. Dentex emailed them my X-rays, and I went in to finally get the cleaning and see what they had to say about the root canal. Two dentists and a dental hygienist all evaluated

Been coming here for a few years now and i can honestly say the people that work here are friendly and knowledgeable. A couple times I had to request an emergency appointment and they will always add you in the same day.
I got my X-rays done then got seen by dentist a couple mins after. I was out of there less than hour with a happy experience.

Today was my first visit. Office and staff are very welcoming. Had x rays done that didn't hurt at all unlike last dental office. The tech was nice. The dentist and her assistant were informative on what services I need and even offered to start procedure if it's what I wanted today. I didn't get procedure done just yet but they have treated me with more respect than what I've experienced before. They offer a variety of dental services which is nice and seem like they're concerned about the patient and not just making money.

My husband comes here because he doesn't have dental insurance. It's always easy to get an appointment and the elderly man who seems to run the place is always so kind. I've had good customer service experiences with the receptionists as well. It is so affordable for patients without insurance!!! My husband just got 3 fillings for $120, and we can't comment on the quality of the work yet because it's too soon, but if there are problems with the fillings in the future I'll update the review. In the past my husband has had cleanings here that he's been satisfied

This place sucks. I went here a couple years ago when I first moved to the city due to it's proximity, but now I know better and travel further out for my dentistry needs. I got in an out fast enough, but it was all very rushed and I didn't feel like a got a real cleaning. I knew something was off when the dentist didn't immediately critique my flossing habits. Then he randomly said he was filling a cavity which took two seconds and I suspect was just to get more $$ from my insurance. If I could give this place zero stars I would! Please go somewhere else because they do a terrible job. The staff just doesn't care about the patients and the dentist rush through all the procedures. As a result my filling they put in was incomplete and the root canal they performed resulted in my tooth breaking in half in less than a week. I then had to schedule a regular dental appointment with my actual dentist to have my tooth repaired. In and out. Lead dentist guy is super nice. The rest of them are all business. No frills. Dumb receptionists with no customer service skills. Tiny waiting room with a tv. Don't go here if you care about ambience. Cute, funny murals. Like the dentist version of every other south philly business. Kinda ghetto but they get it done. Funny dental assistants. This was hands down the worst dentist experience of my life. I have been to several dentists in my life and just moved to the city and needed to find a new one. The staff seemed ok, no one was remarkably personable. I saw Dr. Cho and he seemed very rushed throughout my appointment. He said very little, except you have a cavity and promptly started injecting me with Novocaine. There was no discussion as to...I'm about to give you a needle and start drilling in your mouth...he just did it. I thought I would write this review in steps. I am in desperate need of a dental visit, something I dread, and I've let my teeth get into really bad shape. I was walking by this place - not far from my home - and gave them call outside using the number on the sign. The sign, by the way,
