I was evicted because of my ESA dogs! I am a 100% disabled veteran and I’ve had 14 surgeries in 3 years! The manager at the time lied to the judge and told him that they gave me several letters about the smell of dog urine coming from my apartment! First of all, I only received ONE letter and that was 2 days after a HUGE surgery and had 87 staples in my abdomen! The only 2 employees here that have EVER been nice and understanding are Matt (from maintenance), and Nancy (from housekeeping)! This place is the worst! They evicted me during COVID and now I’m living in my car with my 2 dogs!

I was extremely impressed with the self-guided tour at Lockwood Villas. The apartments were beautiful and definitely have a luxury feel. The Community Manager, April, was incredible and addressed all of the many questions that I had regarding the community and application process. She was extremely friendly and helpful and I loved that I was provided with a folder to take home that contained information about the Lockwood community and the various offerings available to tenants.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had. I newly moved to Buffalo and reached out to them after being assaulted in another apartment complex. I made a security deposit, after I heard back from the investigator for my case I reached out to them within less than 24 hours to inform them I will no longer be staying in Buffalo and will return to my state due to my assault case and a concern for my safety. They refused to return my deposit even though I never signed the lease. They had absolutely no empathy for my case and were not willing to work anything out with me. I would not recommend this

I’ll just say I’ve lived in many “luxury” apartments in the Buffalo area and this is the best. The other apartment complexes/condos I’ve lived in were noisy and leasing management/landlords are terrible. I’m glad I’ve moved here. April is an amazing leasing Manager that goes above and beyond for me as a resident. And it’s extremely quiet here! Maintenance is on top of issues as soon as you request it.

I was looking for a place to move and being new to the area I was not sure where to start. The staff here was extremely helpful and helped me through the entire move process, including the property manager, April. The model was gorgeous and had everything I wanted - including a walk in closet. After I moved in I met a few neighbors and they were very friendly and I was able to utilize the amenities Lockwood offered like the on site fitness center and clubhouse. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking!

Traffic noise can be heard regardless of which unit you are in. This option is VERY expensive for buffalo NY. Lease options are not that great as there is no flexibility. If you have the time to search I recommend looking elsewhere. The units themselves are nice but not for as much they are charging, if I was not new to the area this would NOT have been my 1st 2nd or 3rd choice.
