Every time I meet a patient for the first time, I ask what brought them to see a Registered Dietitian. While everyone's story is unique, often the reasons for coming are similar. Maybe your relationship with food is causing you pain, anxiety, uncertainty, or stress. Maybe you've heard a lot of different information about which foods are "good" and which are "bad, " leaving you confused about what you should and shouldn't eat.

Maybe you've followed a bunch of unsuccessful diets and each one left you feeling worse than the last. At this point, you may not be sure where to start or what to eat. I hope in coming here, you believe the same thing I do: it doesn't have to be this way. Whatever your goal is right now, nutrition counseling with a Registered Dietitian can help you meet it.
Services
I am a Registered and Licensed Dietitian. As a result of my education and training, I have learned that nutrition is important but doesn't need to be taken as seriously as the internet and popular culture would have you believe. My job is to help you meet your nutrition goals safely and in ways that make sense for your personal preferences and lifestyle.
Nutrition counseling appointments are available Monday through Thursday between 10am and 5pm. My office is at 9535 Forest Lane, Suite 258, Dallas, TX 75243. Telehealth appointments are also available at my discretion. I am licensed in Texas and Louisiana. Additionally, I can work with clients in several other states depending on their licensure requirements.
Nutrition counseling is an ongoing process. Our initial session will include a thorough history and assessment, which includes discussion of your goals, efforts, struggles, and successes so far. Together we will then come up with several realistic changes you can make that can help you meet your goals and ways you can implement them into your life.
Supervision is a profoundly important but often overlooked area of professional development for Registered Dietitians. Particularly for new dietitians or those of us who work in emotionally intense settings, supervision can help you build confidence in your skills and feel less alone as a provider, accelerate your growth as a clinician, allow you to deep dive into the areas of practice you feel most passionate about, and prevent burnout.
