I've been hesitant on getting laser hair removal because I wasn't sure of how the process worked and of the pain it may cause. However my co-worker went here from a Groupon deal to get rid of her chin hair and she told me great reviews about her. First of I wanted to go to someone of color who knew how to deal with my kind of skin tone and knows which laser beam would be effective with my hair type. Xenal is the best. She is super knowledgable and also very easy to reach. Also the laser she does Works. Which so many places in NYC (the posher spas) totally don't. Her price point is also much better than other places. I would one hundred percent recommend. I am so so so so glad I found this place. Especially for non white girls she is a god send.

Xenal definitely LOVES her craft. I'm very happy every time I leave her office. She knows exactly what to recommend. Very knowledgeable and professional. The scares on my face have faded after seeing her every month.

This place is really made by the service and courtesy of being transparent. When I first booked I was told that my skin and hair type may not be suitable. My money could've been gladly taken, but there was total transparency as well as allowing me to essentially customize the area I needed to treat.
We discussed and I did end up using Xen Laser. I had great results and like feeling like I wasn't rushed in and out of the room, had time to chat and generally feel like time was taken with my treatment as well as me as a client.

Xen is amazing!! She's super knowledgeable about he stuff and your skin! I've been going to her for the last few months for laser hair removal. I'm so excited to continue to support her and her business because of how dope she is. Even with the COVID19 shut down she stayed in communication with her clients, letting us know when we could re-schedule and also preemptively reaching out to have those of in the middle of packages get our scheduled treatments back on tack. Let me tell you how good Xen is I fly to New York from Chicago every 8-12 weeks or so for my appointment. I started getting laser hair removal with Xen when I lived in north Jersey and then I would still travel an hour to the city; Xen is just that good. She is very knowledgeable and the PRICE IS RIGHT! Jury is still out. I purchased a groupon for laser hair removal. For some weird reason the address on the groupon was different than the address on their website. Booking was weird because the instructions stated text for an appointment. I texted and then they told me to book via their website. Huh?! Okay, booked online. Their prices online differed from the Groupon.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone doing laser hair removal. I've done laser at another place before, but at Xen it somehow felt way less painful. Xenal is an amazing aesthetician. I have been her client over several sessions last year and she is truly knowledgeable about the field. She is super friendly and will make sure you are comfortable with the treatment and go at your pace. She is really vested in her clients and will make sure to go into the details that most other people would overlook. The treatment itself is highly effective and has reduced my hair growth by 80% in just the first set of 6 sessions. I have signed up with Xen for my next set of 6 and looking forward to even better results.

Somewhat of an exaggeration but super glad to have started on my New Years resolution with Xen. Despite the many options in Koreatown, I chose to head up to Columbus Circle, partly due to the fact that Xen has lots of experience with clients of color (read: black people). Some of the best money I've spent this year, and after doing a few spots on my face I'm totally at ease to continue with larger areas. Haven't had one but her facials look great too

Xenal is amazing! I just finished 6 sessions of laser hair removal with her and couldn't be happier. I am South Asian with medium tan skin and black hair. My legs are so smooth, and I barely have to shave. Compared to the last place I got laser done, going to Xenal is PAINLESS- my skin is never irritated after. Xen is knowledgeable and so easy to chat with, my sessions always fly by. I am continuing to see her and just bought another package for some other areas.

Soooo happy I found Xen, she is a skin god! I have barely any hair and no longer feel a need to shave - and I'm only 4/6 laser sessions in. The treatments have also made my skin significantly smoother.

Xen takes the time to understand your skin/needs, as well as set expectations accordingly. I have fair/medium skin and she was extremely attentive towards using the correct settings + preventing scarring. The treatments were certainly painful (lol) but extremely fast. A few minutes of pain is more than worth the results.

I can already tell she is amazing! I was explained everything thoroughly during the consult and what to expect with my skin/hair type. I could tell she was extremely thorough and detail oriented during the session as well. She isn't trying to steal your $ and make the laser low to get you to come back like other places. Xenal does it as strong as you/your skin can tolerate the laser

Wow, I'M SHOOK. Xenal is AMAZING. I went to Step Up Skin Laser to get my first 6 sessions done, and they used a diode laser vs this candela laser. I got my brazilian area done, and after my 6th session, I noticed that hair would begin growing back. In between late August and late November, I had to shave twice. Yes, that sounds like I'm being bratty and am expecting miracles to happen, but I have very thin, fine hair, and even way before all of this, I would only have had to shave twice in 2 months.
