Creature Comforts
We're dedicated to providing exceptional service and a welcoming environment for you and your pet. Kittery Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital and will take both emergency cases as well as less urgent medical, surgical, and dental issues. Our veterinarians are experienced in all types of conditions and treatments.

Beyond first-rate pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and a very calm "Fear Free" environment so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting his or her own Kittery veterinarian. Our wide range of services and our in-hospital shelter attest to our ongoing commitment to animal well-being and welfare in the area we serve.
Services
Kittery Animal Hospital has been a resource for the Kittery community for 35 years and is dedicated to providing exceptional service and a welcoming environment for you and your pet. Dr. Scott Moffat is the owner and administrator of KAH and is also a licensed, experienced veterinarian. His emphasis on preventative care is a core value of our practice, and it's our goal to help your pet live the longest, healthiest life possible.
My recent visit at KAH was excellent for my senior Lab. She was treated very well, and I received excellent feedback from Dr. Duckett regarding her conditions. Thank you so much and my Lab loved getting the squeak toy at the end! We recently had a very rewarding experience with our little Bonita at Kittery Animal Hospital.
We know that even the best pet parents can have busy days that leave them little time to socialize and exercise their canine companions. That's why Creature Comforts offers Doggy Daycare Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. You can bring your dog to us in the morning on your way to work, shopping, running errands or whatever you need to do and we'll provide them with fun activities while you're away.
This boy has had a rough start in life, but that doesn't stop him from being a love bug! It is suspected that he was hit by a car and treated before arriving here at Kittery Animal Hospital, which is why he is missing some patches of fur. Lajeno is an energetic boy who loves to play. He will need a patient family who is willing to do some basic obedience training and socialization with him, but we believe he is going to make somebody very happy.
Due to the GREAT people working with our adoptable pets at K.A.H we are able to find homes for most of our strays. The majority of our pets come to us from Mississipi, Puerto Rico, and other areas who have been rescued and fostered after an uncertain life outdoors fending for themselves. With their stray backgrounds, we make every effort to get them into loving, caring indoor pet-friendly homes.

Brought both my furbabies here. Drove an hour every visit due to how amazing they are. They helped with getting our cats to Hawaii. They did a great job preparing us. They did the research and got it all done… in the right amount of time. One of my cats were nervous during traveling and they gave us some amazing tips. Both cats were amazing on the flight that we got asked if they were sedated a few times (obviously they weren’t). They really helped during a stressful time and will definitely return to them when moving back to Maine in a few years.

We had such a wonderful experience adopting our new pup. The staff is very professional and caring. We live quite a distance from their location but we are more than willing to travel to keep their office as our vet. So very thankful we found Kittery Animal Hospital. We would highly recommend them to our friends and family members. Thank You Kittery Animal Hospital for being so good at what you do. Your passion and love for animals is evident.

I was thankful you were open to be able to groom my dog. I don’t believe you know how to groom a wheaten terrier. I am going to try to put a picture of a previous Grooming and how he came out when you groomed him.the pic on left is how he should look, real fluffy. You cut way too much off his back and tail.

The staff is very caring and concerned every step of the way. The worst possible time for any animal lover comes at the end... when our friends gentle soul must leave us. This time came a week ago today, after 12 loving years. Kittery Animal Hospital, as always, provided exemplary services with the utmost in respect and compassion.
