Moved to Michigan at the end of September. They are so welcoming and helpful! We were going to be a day late on rent due to finding a new job and they worked with us instead of dropping a late fee on us. The community is really nice. I love living here!

My brother and I have been at Forest Pointe since August and we absolutely love it. We definitely feel that we are getting the most bang for our buck, compared to similar apartment complexes in the area that we looked in to. Everyone I have met - staff AND residents - has been extremely friendly and I love the events/gatherings that are held every month. So far, I have no complaints, and I am very grateful that I get to call Forest Pointe home!

Since I moved here I’ve had no issues with communication, maintenance fixes things pretty quickly, and the staff is very friendly! Pretty good value for what you pay, and the apartment buildings have a really cool unique castle-like look.

We’ve loved living at Forest Pointe. The apartments are clean when you begin your lease, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and the staff are super friendly. It’s nice having a dog park, pool, and a gym facility!

I just moved in last month and I'm really liking it so far. For what I'm paying, it's a great place. Management is responsive when addressing my concerns and have been very straightforward with all of their answers. I could see myself living here for a whole.

Definitely one of my favorite places I've ever called home. The staff is friendly and professional. Maintenance is quick to respond to problems when you put in a request. The office staff as always been very prompt whenever I email them with a question. I always recommend Forest Pointe when I hear of friends looking for apartments in the area

I have lived here for a few months now and it has been good so far. I have brought issues to the offices attention and they do their best to fix it in a timely manner. If they can’t they are communicative about why and the timeline for addressing the issue. The dog park is a bonus. I’ve noticed overflowing trash as an issue but it mostly seems to be when people move out and it generally is taken care of quickly.

We have lived here for three months and can’t recommend enough! Great tours/staff, multiple options to upgrade your apartment, FAST maintenance, and super easy app for payments and communication. Big pluses includes the large pool, outdoor center, and business center complete with a gym. They also host a lot of community events- today was donuts and cider to celebrate autumn! Love!

Do your research first, and avoid this place.
Lived here when it was still Castle Bluff.
Worst rental experience ever. I know they have changed management, but I don't understand how new office staff, some new flooring/carpets, and a fresh coat of paint will get rid of black mold growing all over the apartment (bedrooms, kitchen, closets, etc) or a recurring roach infestation throughout most buildings.
By the time we moved out, my daughter and I had started sleeping on a mattress in the living room to avoid the mold, and we had roach traps and spray all over the place.
To make matters worse

We have enjoyed our time here at Forest Pointe. While the place isn't updated, it's safe, quiet, and close to local 'hot spots', including the Woodland Mall. Any maintenance issues have been dealt with promptly and the staff is always willing to provide effective support for any resident issues. Dogs are allowed and the additional cost is very reasonable. I recommend this place!

I have been a resident for about a month now and have had no issues thus far. I really appreciate everyone in the front office. They are always courteous, outgoing, and really friendly. For me, that's what sold me on wanting to move to Forest Pointe. I also really appreciate that the complex tries to engage with their residents and do fun events every month. Those little extra things really get noticed and solidify even more that I made the right choice when moving. I can't wait to see how the rest of the year goes!

I am a current resident of Forest Pointe Apartments and have been here for 4 months. The front desk is really good at replying quickly to all emails. For example I had a plumbing issue and it was fixed one day after I submitted a request. The complex also has a gym which is nice and usually not busy. It has large TVs inside that you can set to play whatever channel you want. The apartment is located near 28th street which has everything you need somewhere along it. (Planet fitness, grocery store, mall, and more all within a couple miles). We recently had snow and the complex itself was cleared

I was a bit weary after the reviews, but the tour and staff are what sold me. The leasing staff is very helpful, nice and generous. I am happy with my one bedroom apartment. It's quite large and the complex is quiet. I like seeing the woods outside of my window and patio, yet I'm close to 28th street things as well as I'm not far from downtown GR at all. I like the fact that the maintenance and landscaping are always kept up and the leasing office always sends out monthly notifications. I enjoy calling this my home.

This place is a joke. The maintenance worker didn't fix anything I had problems with. Ac unit didn't cool my apartment so I was stuck in a 90 degree apartment through the summer. And when I moved out they took my entire deposit to fix a drawer and refinish the countertop. Which there was nothing wrong with the countertop when I left. Prices are cheap for this area but for your own sake don't move here.

Roaches! A call to the Kentwood city Building inspector will verify that several complaints have been waged. The complex doesspray frequently, but it is a huge inconvenience. Also since i have reported the infestation new tenants have been allowed to move into a building with an infestation.
