Jessie Lord Bakery
Since 1984, Jessie Lord Bakery has been baking some of the freshest, flakiest homestyle pies in the country. We take great pride in sourcing the high-quality ingredients that go into our pies, from the rich California dairy and eggs that make our cream and meringue pies so luscious, to the perfectly-ripe apples, peaches, cherries, and berries that we mix into our fruit pie fillings.

We pay close attention to every detail of the pie production process, from rolling to crimping, filling to baking, and we're sticklers for quality control, especially the taste-testing part (we love the taste-testing part).
Services
Crisp Granny Smith apples, tart dark cherries and juicy berries, sweet summer peaches -these are a few of our favorite things. We make our from-scratch pies the old-fashioned way, with plenty of perfectly ripe fruit and a pinch of sugar and spice, in a tender, flaky crust.

As beautiful as they are melt-in-your-mouth delicious, our award-winning cream and meringue pies start with a rich, buttery shortbread crust, piled with luscious lemon, key lime, chocolate, banana, and coconut fillings, and finished with sky-high dollops of fluffy meringue or delicate whipped cream rosettes. Our cream pies are available with either shelf stable or fresh cream topping.

Purchased a "Jessie's Lemon Meringue Pie"at Ralphs on Vermont & 3rd......I won't even go into how discussing it tasted...IT WAS INEDIBLE! By comparison, Ralphs brand of Lemon Meringue is great tasting. Why is Ralphs even selling this gross product when it's obvious (judging from all the negative review's) I'm not the only one who finds Jessie's pies discusting!?

The worst pie I have ever eaten. Cherrie pie had no cherries, like some kind of cherrie spread. Had to throw out and will never buy again. Yuck.

Ingredients in a peach pie show peaches as the first ingredient but I'm sure they made a huge mistake. Almost no fruit in this pie and 90% crust. .I will never buy a other Jessie Lord pie again!!!

I bought the pecan pie at Winco for thanksgiving and the second slice that I cut had 4 hair strands! One was probably 7 inches and had a gray root. We found several more throughout the pie and had to discard it. Please have your employees wear hair nets because that is disgusting.

We had the Apple pie and were extremely impressed! It was the first time I enjoyed a pie that wasn't sickingly sweet! It was perfect and the crust was delicious. I would highly recommend it!

I purchased a large pumpkin pie at Wincos in Idaho for Thanksgiving, the crust was not done and the filling was barely set much less hardly any spice to even help it out! Never again!

I complained about these pies two years ago. Well, they are now worse. They have no idea how to make a flaky crust, but are very good at the thick cardboard tasting crusts they do make. You need a hammer and chisel just to cut the thing. That's it, no more, won't even hope for an improvement. I am sure they do the thick heavy crust on purpose so they don't have to use much filler. I would have given no stars but had to give one to comment.

Purchased. BANANA CREAM PIE from Woodman’s. WASTE OF MY MONEY!!!
Even if they had Cream Pie...it would FAIL.
There were NO bananas or banana flavoring in this “pie”. The fake whipped topping covered the pie and was tasteless. The crust pale and thick.
Will never buy again. Suggest you get some real bakers in your business. I will return the pie and suggest they look elsewhere for their pies.
