Also as to the list of issues with the office staff... the floors are extremely thin. When you have problem child neighbors like we did, they rained their music down on us. The office won't help you. If you have issues and live there the new company is called prime realty group based in LA and you should call them to complain about the office staff lack of Professionalism or response to your inquiries. I just heard today that the terrible office manager Giacomo Nunez-Rossi was fired. That guy was a true narcissist.

I lived in the Skylark Apartments 2012-2016. Why am I just reviewing now? I wasn't a big Yelper back then. :)

I rented my unit sight unseen. I spoke with Mary, the manager, and explained what I was looking for in a unit. She listened and basically chose my unit/location for me. It was the PERFECT choice. The management office was so helpful and accommodating when I moved up to Northern California and during the entire time I lived there. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The unit had SO MUCH CLOSET SPACE and I was able to get a storage space right across the driveway.

I lived at Skylark for 5 years. I adored this place and only left because I had to move states for work. Staff was very friendly, responsive and accommodating. Location is unbeatable and facilities are very well maintained. Clear to me the property owner truly cares about his investment and having happy, long time tenants who will take care of their homes. Only complaints I have were occasional vandals and tenants having all their junk on the decks. Oh apartment living ‍

I live here now and have for about 2 years. I adore my apartment and everything about Skylark. From the wonderful staff in the office to maintenance. Everyone is considerate and quiet and kind. We have trails nearby.

We have dog stations for bags and trash we have new card machines for the laundry and large clean trash bins for recycle and trash.

Our 3 pools aren't open all year but when they are they are spotlessly clean and the perfect refreshing temp.

I feel super safe here and we have covered carports. My deck is incredible my views gorgeous. I only wish they had an online

I think I finally need to start decreasing my star rating for Skylark. I still love living here and everything I've written in previous posts is true and accurate. However, my apartment was over 105 degrees these past few days during the heat wave. Yes, it was hotter than outside. I know I'm not the only one. I've spoken to many others on the property who talk about our third floor units being uninhabitable. Many people are forced to leave during the day because you can't be home due to the heat. Management has installed the air conditioning units in their office (for their

I lived there for two years. Good value overall. Great location.
Management is competent and very responsive.
That said they can be inflexible and unethical.
I had a rent check bounced due to an error by Wells Fargo. The bank acknowledged the error and sent a letter apologizing. The management at Skylark still charged me a late fee.
It was a small amount but short sighted and small minded response by Skylark.

Moved in on 1 November 2014 - exceptionally pleased to date and don't foresee anything that might change my experience. Tightly managed and serviced, the management and maintenance staff are super, the units, grounds and neighbors are great. I live at 10 Skylark, mid-hill, and typical of units built in the '60's, the sound and temperature insulation requires thoughtful neighbors and maybe an extra comforter. The heating system though is gas forced air so it is fast and so effective you could wear shorts and t-shirts all winter long. Friends in the area have electric baseboards and

I moved here a couple years ago and I have to say that for the money it cannot be beat.

The grounds are very well kept as well as all the swimming pools and workout room.

If I have a problem or something needs attention the staff is always prompt in addressing any issues I have in a timly manner.

Im in an upper 1 bedroom unit thats very large with plenty of storage and closet space.
I have a great view of Mt. Tam and the forest surrounding my home.
On top of all that how about a real woodburning fireplace for those chilly Marin winter nights?

The only complaint at all is that in the summer

Skylark Heights is beautifully located and the apartments are light and spacious, many have a panoramic view and may seem ideal. But ideal they are not. While there are small, petty annoyances such as winter wind seeping through the glazing, the main issue is noise. The apartments are seemingly without insulation for summer heat or sound. I had to make several complaints about excessive noise during the day and evening, even as late as 3:00 a.m. When it came time to move over $1200 was deducted from my security deposit on the claim that a small stain on the carpet could not be removed by

I moved into one of their VERY roomy one bedroom apartments with my two small children after separating from my husband in 2010. The apartment had beautiful views, I was able to get a storage unit under my building, staff was ALWAYS SO WONDERFUL. They gave me my deposit money back immediatetly after I moved out (they are just so efficient). The pool and grounds are well maintained. The price is very reasonable for Larkspur. Like any older apt complex, the walls can be a little thin, but no thinner than your average hotel or any other apt. I have yet to find an apt that has super thick sound

Have been living here for about 6 months now. The place is great. Amazing views of Mt.Tam and also a bunch of trails accessible from within the apartment complex for all nature loves out there. The leasing staff are really wonderful and friendly. The apartments are big. The community is pleasant and quiet. No loud noises. The rents are a little on the higher side, but It is a small price to pay for privacy.

Generous size for a 1 bedroom. Lots of closet space. Love the heated swimming pools (3). The pools are heated so well that you can jump right in. Only 1 covered parking spot per apartment but additional parking isn't a problem. Management is super nice and always willing to help. I moved because unfortunately Skylark has become unsafe. My boyfriend's car was stolen from the complex during the middle of the day. Later recovered by the police at the Terra Linda health center. Someone tried to break into the apartment while I was home. I got up for work the next day and my key

I lived there for more than two years. Very nice location, the apartments size are pretty generous but the slightly creaky floors that have you hear your upstairs neighbors walk around if they are not light footed or unconsidered.
The down side is the manager as she is very rude and unhelpful while her assistances are very nice and helpful.

My husband and I have lived in one of the one bedroom units at skylark apartments. The size is generous so it makes it a great spot for a couple to share a one bedroom. Perched on the side of a hill we have a nice view and it has as a very peaceful setting.

I remember our first night sleeping there I heard a deer walking under our window as I was falling asleep.

Although a very large apartment complex, it doesn't feel large due to it being separated into several different buildings that are spread out over a large area.

They have a mix of renovated and non renovated apartments. I see

We just moved in here early last year and I have to say that I like it quite a bit. The apartment was renovated before we moved in so it has a new kitchen with stainless steel appliances, new cabinets, carpet, etc. The square footage is pretty generous for a 1 bedroom apartment and, though the rent is still more than I would like, it is much cheaper than the majority of the competing apartments at the time. The managment is very quick to follow up with any problems we have and have been very nice to us.

The only reason I'm not giving the apartment a perfect rating is the refrigerator
