We went down for Memorial Day weekend with my family. We had two different types of rooms and they were both outstanding. They were clean and in perfect condition the beds were great and the bathrooms were clean. The staff was helpful. The Cafe was convenient for breakfast and the staff and cook were awesome.
I would definitely go back again. Another wonderful stay here. Rooms are clean and updated as well as spacious. Staff is very accomodating. Love the padded cushions on the pool side lounge chairs. Great location and views! It's nice that they let you extend your stay by providing a courtesy changing room w/shower after check out.

Absolutely beautiful. Kind staff. Clean rooms. Happy customers!! Also I’m not sure which housekeeper it was but she found my husbands wallet. We were checking out and she stopped me as we were leaving and showed me his wallet under the bed. We really had a wonderful stay and will be staying again! Rooftop cafe was wonderful. View was spectacular.

Waikiki is a nice friendly place though it is a little dated. The rooms were clean and comfortable but could use another air conditioner as half the room was still hot even with the air conditioner running all day long. The views were really great and the deck was really pleasant, the pool was warm and a good size.

We ate at the rooftop restaurant at the Waikiki on two occasions during our trip to Wildwood Crest. We enjoyed the view and the food so much the first time we had to return again!
If you haven't been there before, it may be a bit difficult to find, but simply take the elevator to the top floor and follow the hallway towards the beach.
Though the restaurant was suffering from a staff shortage, we still had a wonderful time. Keep up the great work!

My review is based strictly on the Tiki Top Ocean Grill. We were staying at a neighboring motel and saw the advertisement coming up from the beach one afternoon. Needing breakfast and not wanting to drive we decided to try this cute little 6th floor restaurant. Decor is basic but the view is good. Service and food above average.
We were seated right away. Menu is pretty diverse for as small as this place is. I opted for the Benedict. Food came out quickly and looked good but as we all know looks can de deceiving. I was pleasantly surprised. The hollandaise was thick and cheesy, my poached eggs

Great clean hotel with excellent service. Everyone is so pleasant and kind. Natalie was very accommodating and provided a smooth check in for our family . We've been coming down for many years now and One year stayed someplace else, would never do that again! Wakiki is for us!!!! Would recommend it here to everyone!

Well first of all I was woken up at 1 am to the sound of water dripping and sure enough I looked into the living area and the tile floor was beginning to fill with water. It’s raining pretty hard but I don’t understand what the ceiling is a leaking, so clearly the building has some issues. We tried calling the desk and no one answered and we even walked down there and there isn’t anyone so we’re very unsure of what to do considering our room is filling with water. I stayed here for five days. We had five rooms. The day we checked in my wife had to clean the whole room because it was dirty. From the counters on the bathroom to the cushions on the couch. The leather was ripped in some spots on couch. There was no ice bucket. I was going to use the pitcher from the cabinets but it was filthy. They came in my room while we were away even though we asked them not to. I had our phones out and my wallet and money was on the room. They made one bed and left. They didn't switch out the towels and the left a spray bottle on the counter. The dehumidifier

I wish I could do less than one. The bathroom in our room didn't work. Fixed it once and it still didn't work. I've never seen such poor customer service. They refused to give us another room and told us they would give us our money back and to leave. Now, we're on vacation - no hotel. Luckily we found one - but twice the price. Stay away from this dump and their crappy customer service. Manager was terrible.

For the money at first it seemed like a decent hotel. However most bedrooms are not air conditioned which proves to be a tough thing to ignore when you're on a beach vacation and it's 90 plus for a week. The dryer ate my grandmothers $2 and management refused to offer any sort of reimbursement or any other sort of accommodation. They told us to call the dryer company. What a bunch of clowns. Poor customer service skills which cannot be overlooked because the hotel has no other redeeming qualities really. Would not recommend and will not be back.

My dad used to take our whole family here when we were kids to eat at the roof top cafe for breakfast so I wanted to take my mom on our recent visit.
It is much like I remembered where you can sit in a screened in area and look out at the ocean. It is very dated however and could use a bit of an update .
I liked that they had fresh fruit on the menu and they even had a vegan butter I noticed in the case ! The food was still very good and the coffee fresh and flowing. Our server was very nice as well.

This was our first time staying at Waikiki and would definitely come back again. We stayed for 4 nights and our family loved the hotel, pool, and the beach which is right across the street. Our room was very spacious and clean. The front desk was always helpful with recommendations on what to do and where to eat.

Perfect location for fun in the sun. Walking distance to beach, park, summer concerts, and ice cream man drives by regularly. There is even a complimentary tennis courts or pickle ball right across the street. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean. The coffee shop has one of the best views of the ocean on the island.

State a few days ago. Comforter had a large brown stain. When I asked for a replacement, the desk clerk just threw a crumpled up comforter on the desk. I asked them to come up and replace it. Went to the room to find it just thrown on the bed. Also found a used razor blade on the floor. Returned one out of two room keys, and the clerk did not refund partial deposit. I told him (calmly) would just keep the key, and he began screaming at me.After he screamed I told him my thoughts on the place and how it was dirty and no one seemed to care. Customer service was horrible and the place was a hole.

What a dump. For 260 dollars a night I expected a lot more. Maybe coffee in the room or a television larger than my IPad. (The small issues). It's a mile walk to the first pier. The room is outdated and the pool is tiny.
The restaurant staff on the other hand was wonderful. And our room attendant hector was great.

This hotel is great but the only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of 1 thing. While I was getting to go to the beach, housekeeping came and I said that we will be out in 5 minutes.
After we came back around 7 hours later, our beds weren't made. So we complained down to the front desk and they said they should be made everyday and if our family is paying $350 a night. They better believe they should make our beds. Thats is my only complaint. Otherwise this hotel is recommended to anybody who wants a decent hotel.

I am extremely upset with the way they communicate. They also were unprofessional and have lack of customer service skills. After we got upset about the room not having a kitchen, even though they stated to us prior booking the room that we would have one, The worker on the front desk did not have a care of our business and with a nasty attitude said "you can leave if you want" . Learn how to problem solve, and treat your customers with respect. Would never recommended this hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend for Bike Week and I was pleasant surprised. The hotel is clean, newly updated but still has the "beach inn" feel. The pool was clean (although I didn't use it). The staff was friendly and the cleaning staff did a great job too. We had breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel and the food was just ok but again the staff was really friendly so we enjoyed our meal with a rooftop view of the beach.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a family or without!
