Services
I am a trainer at Big Tex Gym in Austin, TX. I began my journey into fitness nearly seven years ago at age 14 where I developed body dysmorphia disorder and traits of anorexia. Since then I have found a way to live a balanced lifestyle through the patience and guidance of a coach. I've been in the best shape of my life as well as the worst.
In person training is conducted at my home gym, Big Tex. This style of training is ideal for hands on learning style individuals. I offer the option of 30 min or 60 min sessions depending on the needs of the individual client. Through in person training I will be able to identify and train imbalances within the body, teach proper form/intensity, and develop a muscle to mind connection.
I am invested in my clients and want clients to enjoy the journey, one of my biggest goals. I work hard to make training sessions challenging, but enjoyable. I do not see fitness as a punishment in any way shape or form and do not believe in punishing a client for messing up. I am very encouraging and am available 24/7 even if a client just needs a pep talk!

I've been working out with Mikaela for 3 months and already committed to the rest of the year (4 more months)! I had been training on my own for years but wanted to take it to the next level - really refine my diet and workouts/programming before deciding to compete. Mikaela has been incredibly supportive throughout the whole process. The meal plan is very straight forward and she always asks if there's anything special you want in there for the week. Mikaela has all kinds of different clients but for my personal journey she has helped me with postpartum recovery. She has been great with helping me start from scratch with my fitness journey and makes meal plans that are actually yummy and easy to follow. She is very organized and communicative as well. Her training sessions are also very valuable because she is educated in her field and really focuses on you without distractions. I highly recommend!

I’ve been working with her for 5 months now doing a bulk and have gone from 145lbs to 164lbs. She’s consistent in checking in with you and seeing how diet is going and making changes as well. It’s always a pleasure having 1-on-1’s too, because she’s charismatic and engaging but pushes you in an encouraging manner. Definitely recommend.

Mikaela is by far one of the most educational, down to earth and understanding, transparent training coaches I've ever worked with. She changes the diet up if you get bored. She makes the diet more grab and go friendly if you stay super busy. The workouts are insanely effective and the results are almost instant. She does face to face & virtual workout and meal plans. She stays on you if you start to fall off the wagon and picks you back up when you want to throw in the towel. And she's reasonably priced. I’ve been working with Mikaela for about 4 months, and I could not be happier with my decision to start with her. When I started, my goals were really just to get back on track with healthy eating and an exercise plan. Mikaela is the best personal trainer I have worked with it! She is super friendly and is always encouraging. I have done her personal training workouts and her meal plan program. She definitely pushes you and will be sore the next day. Her meal plans are easy to follow and if you have any questions she is always available. She even works with me after I moved out of Texas and that’s amazing! If you are looking for the extra push for your fitness goals Mikaela is your go to person!

When I decided to start becoming physically fit again I met with and worked with several trainers. My first trainer was Mikaela who was a definite lock-in for personal training. She was a positive, firmly focused trainer that took into account my physical limits and built upon them as I improved in health. She has a great disposition and is very knowledgeable on what type of workout will bring you the greatest results. She knew which stretches and positions to use for injuries or tightness. I highly recommend seeing her and Kelly if you are living in the Austin Area!
