I've had the worst year and half experience living here. First off the maintenance is horrible only after multiple request and long wait times are our problems even addressed. When they do attempt to resolve the issues, they do a half job and take shortcuts without doing the job properly. Instead of fixing our leaky ceiling, it was patched up only providing a temporary solution to the problem. The construction starts at the crack of dawn before most people are awake, waking our child up several hours before we get up. There have been multiple times at night where there have been bright light

The staff is very friendly! If we had any maintenance issues they quickly fixed it. The maintenance guys were always kind and quick to acknowledge your presence. The water would get shut off every couple weeks for maintenance on the property. That was probably the only frustrating issue we dealt with during our residency. We’ve moved for various reasons but I’d totally recommend this place if cost and location is not the issue. You pay for the location which is great if you like to be close to retail shopping. It was not ideal for families that needed to be close to grocery stores. Overall

Brookside is a great place to live! It is at the heart of Louisville and there is so much stuff to do in the area. Everything is really close and the people here are great! Maintenance orders are done really fast and it is a great place for pet owners! Mariah in the leasing office is the best! Highly recommend living here!

I expected more out of this apartment complex. For the price you pay you would think it would be up to standards as they make it seem. The laundry room for starters, you pay to wash your clothes and the washers will break leaving your clothes soaked or wet if the dryer breaks. It never dries your clothes. Our windows and door have a draft, in the winter it makes it worse even when we have the thermostat at 75 degrees. Our dishwasher we never used and decided to try to use it well it shot water out of the hose attached to the sink, we called maintenance and it took them three days to come fix it

I only lived here for a short time but during that short time I really enjoyed it! Aside from being centrally located in Louisville, never have I been apart of such a great community. Brookside takes pride in being there for the residents and providing a close knit community with events, yard sales, dinners, breakfasts, game nights, painting nights, you name it. They have a community manager, Jessica and her husband that are truly dedicated to providing a comforting experience for all residents. If you're new to Louisville or need a comforting home, I suggest Brookside all the way! The office staff
