Critical: Responsiveness
Love our house…. Any issues I send to maintenance is never acknowledged unless I email twice. Even if a response of acknowledgement is addressed, it is difficult for management to see it through. Upset with the management company and wish they were more responsive and helpful. But then again the house is quite quaint and homey ;)

We moved into Plaza Terrace over two years ago. We were moving from Memphis and worked with Kay Kay over the phone and email and was met with nothing but professional and attentive customer service. We were blown away by the quality of the space for the price and have loved living there ever since. Plus, you are so close to everything the location is amazing. The maintenance team is so friendly, helpful and quick to answer any request and always go above and beyond. I lived at this leasing company for 2 and a half years. The management KayKay and Margo are very responsive and friendly. Also the maintenance was great such nice people! They were very hands off and answered any questions I had. The resigning of my lease the move out and move in went swiftly. I cannot recommend them enough! And their properties are such great location!

I've lived at the broadway location and haven't had any major complaints that would warrant me to not renew. I stumbled upon PFR but i'm glad I found Margo & Kay they're very responsive and do what they can to make your living situation comfortable

I moved to Kansas City two years ago and sort of stumbled upon Plaza for Rent. My two years of renting with them have been tremendous and very professional. The very few times I have had maintenance issues, they were prompt in their response. Plaza For Rent was also great being proactive in communicating with tenants about issues that would be pertinent to know. They set a really high bar for landlords and I will be sad not to have them anymore.

I moved into Plaza Terrace in April of 2019 and have lived here for 2 years now. I love everything about this place.. the location, the reasonable price for newly remodeled apartments, the lack of noise from neighbors, the gated parking, the responsiveness from management, etc.
I honestly haven't had a single issue in my 2 years of living here that required maintenance or caused me any sort of stress. My fiancé and I loved living here. The management team (Margo & KayKay) was always very nice and responsive. Any maintenance request submitted was responded to in a quick and timely matter. We lived on the third (top) floor in a corner unit and it was perfect- no one to one of our sides or above us. Always very quiet. The community there was great and often we would sit on terrace sharing drinks with neighbors. Only leaving because we bought a house. Would recommend to others!

I rented an apartment with PFR for two years, and everything about my living situation was ideal. Maintenance was responsive, helpful, and kind. The office managers and staff were cordial and attentive. Not to mention, the apartments are BEAUTIFUL. They look like something you’d see on an HGTV show. If I ever move back to the Plaza, I’ll absolutely be renting from Plaza For Rent.

They towed my car and refused to pay for it because I had "last years sticker". I live at their apartments which includes the parking. The walls at their spots are awful, I can hear literally everything around me. I also REALLY appreciate the fact they don't have an online portal to pay your rent but make you take a check to their office. Seriously? It's 2019 and then to charge late fees. The response time for maintenance is similarly despondent. Can't recommend any of these spots because it's mostly a management issue.

Avoid this leasing company if possible. Horrible customer service (Margo) extremely unprofessional, unhelpful, unresponsive and rude. There were multiple occurrences of homeless people in the building, I even sent pictures to the leasing office of a homeless man sleeping on a lobby chair and they claimed security cameras were being installed, 10 months later and there's still no cameras. The maintenance people are the only positive thing about the place. They informed me that plaza for rent knew the installers forgot a piece to the AC unit but they weren't fixing them unless someone complained

DO NOT RENT. My roommate was assaulted by a neighbors guest two doors down, and plaza for rent turned their head away from lawsuit (which went against their 'zero tolerance violence policy' written in their lease) to best keep both parties in the units. Our other neighbors were discriminated against as, PFR told them that having a rainbow LGBT flag outside was unacceptable, and physically took the flag out themselves placed it on the ground and replaced it with an American flag. Lovely experience leasing from them, I had to change my appointment around several times due to work and they were very flexible with me and accommodated me right away. I never once had a problem with the place and if I did, my landlord took care of it sending someone right away to get it checked out.

I was scheduled to have a showing this past Saturday for a one bedroom apartment. I received a voicemail from a lady Friday afternoon asking to push the time to earlier for the showing on Saturday. I called the return number back and the lady who answered said she would have someone get back in touch with me to confirm a time.
Come Saturday, I still don't hear from anyone so I give them a call an hour or so before my initial scheduled showing and the lady who answered said she would have someone get back to me. Still no call back. I show up to the showing as scheduled and no one is there
