Bacari A Petite Restaurant
We're open (Wednesday through Saturday) for both dine-in and carry-out dinner! We have a large outdoor seating area for those who prefer to be outside, as well as a spacious indoor dining room that allows for plenty of space between tables (and also features a state-of-the-art air purification system).

We can't wait to serve you what we hope will be one of your best meals ever. And for music lovers, Jazz pianist Steve Christofferson plays piano every other Friday! Chef/owner Lisa Radcliffe has had a passion for cooking since childhood. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Lisa was influenced by its bounty at a young age, fishing and preparing the trout she caught; hence, seafood is her favorite!

The food was good, a little underwhelming for the price. Service was good. If your going to pay these kind of prices you could drive into portland and get a much better overall experience.

High end gresham restaurant. The value matches the cost of the dishes and the staff + ambiance is great.
Each dish tastes delicious and the drink menu is stellar.

Way too expensive for what they offer. Food was decent but we’ve had better for cheaper price. Portions are small to average. Probably won’t come back.

1) need more than 1.5 (waiter and bartender) people working on a Friday night. If I'm spending $180 for 2 people, I deserve better service than I got, simple as that.

2) the food was great, the pork chop was excellent. Appetizers are way overpriced.

3) bartender gal got irritated with me cause every wine I inquired about (at least 6 of them), they were out of. She would never give me a definitive answer, almost like she wasn't sure, but then said they were basically out of the first 15 or so on the list. That is excessive, don't use the latest supply chain excuse and just

We were so excited to try Bacari for the first time as we had heard how great the food was. Yes, the food and drinks were excellent but our dining experience was very disappointing. We felt unwelcome and rushed the entire time. When you're spending $300+ on dinner you want to enjoy your time. We were told at least 8 times that we had a 2 hour time window for our table. 1 friendly reminder at the beginning of dinner would have been enough or maybe a little note on the table. Or maybe revisit the time block considering the price point of the menu and allowing guests to fully enjoy their meal

Ok I am a pretty fair person when it comes to food but this place was quite a disappointment, the service was 35 minutes to get anything past water, nothing on the table for 45 minutes and food was very bland and lackluster for 45 dollars per meal I would have rather gone to red lobster or olive garden and saved half my money. Service was lame 2 hours and only one time offered for more drinks

We had a lovely Friday evening dinner at Bacari's. We didn't have reservations, but were seated anyway. We enjoyed different wines from their extensive wine selection, and various entrees and an appetizer. Everything thing was wonderful. Our server was perfect and made our visit even more pleasurable. All of us felt like everything was generous: the effort, the portions, the added touches to detail... Its so nice to have things done with excellence, which seems increasingly rare these days. We highly recommend this sweet little restaurant, and hope to return soon.

The waitress was very nice! We arrived at 6:30 ordered our meal and we didn't eat till 7:30 which seemed incredibly slow since there were only three other tables besides us. The bread and truffle butter for $10 was kind of like a rip off there was five small specs of truffle in the butter. My wife ordered the crab and salmon dinner and the salmon was very fishy. I ordered the pork which was overcooked. The piano music was so loud I couldn't even talk to my wife. All in all it was a very expensive disappointing meal.

Have to be completely honest, this place was not as great as I had hoped for and expected. First off they only have a few seating times for reservations. which to me made it worse as everyone arrived at the same time and the server was very slow due to having to attend to everyone at the same time. I think they would be better off having staggered seating times or another server. The place itself was very cute, it had a cozy and classy feel at the same time. Our server was friendly and she told us all the specials she had which was A LOT to take in, I really think they should have them printed

Wow wow wow amazingly good meal. I was in Portland/Gresham for work and was reading the Yelp reviews and this definitely caught my eye. It was a little later in the evening and went without a reservation but luckily had a table outside. Decided not to order an appetizer or salad but did order a loaf of bread. It was taking a little while until it came out and I realized that they baked it fresh-and oh my if the rest of the meal was this good I was in for a treat. I love it when they bring butter and lightly salt it.

Ordered the special lobster bouillabaisse for the entree. Normally I'm more

I started with a salad which was one of the special salads of the day. It consisted of greens, bacon, apples, nuts and blue cheese. The salad was dressed perfectly and the clean taste of the ingrediants was perfectly balanced and not overpowered by the dressing.

I ordered the salmon with miso aioli and micro herbs on thinly sliced potatos in puff pastry. It was DELICIOUS! I rarely give 5 stars but my family basically ordered me to write the review while still sitting there.

My husband ordered the Beef Wellington which was perfectly cooked and the mushroom gravy was to die for. My son ordered

Unlike one of the other recent reviews, i had the bacon wrapped filet with mushrooms and thought it competes with some of the beat I have had. It was tasty and tender.

We actually tried almost everything on the menu.

No disappointment here. Shaved Oregon truffles, prawns, salmon appetizer, warm melted Brie, ahi, chicken and pork entree.

All of the dessert ordered! Each had its own delightful appearance and taste.

Yes, it's a tiny place, and that's what works!

Friendly staff that is attentive yet not pretentious. The food was tasty but..

The bacon wrapped Filet had a salty reduction sauce with mushrooms, nearly raw green beans that weren't trimmed and nice mashed potatoes. I've had better bacon wrapped filet from Fred Meyer, and way cheaper.

The shrimp fettuccine with truffle butter was delightful and tasty. I doubt we've had better.

The melted cheeses and olive oil drizzled bread was a great appetizer.

Indeed it's a tiny place with 3 tables for 2 and 1 table for 4, it's worth a shot for the Yelp explorers.

I went with a group of six friends. It was very cozy, the waitress and Chef interacted with us in a very polite way. We all intend to go back. The appetizers were delicious and the spaghetti dishes were very tasty.

A tiny but delicious restaurant, with a rotating, fresh seasonal menu. Service was friendly- several people who came in were recognized and known to the owner. They offer a takeout option and the food can be taken to a beer station right around the corner. We'll certainly be coming back and consider the takeout option too. We enjoyed the appetizer and both entrees. Portions were ample and filling, so much so we had to take dessert to go. The menu is pretty small but gives a selection of different options and since it's rotating it's a good variety. I do wish there were a couple

So small, but such a gem!! The owner/chef perfects the dishes, hands down amazing. Tried 4 dishes and was blown away by all of them. Let's just say, I don't really want to share because I want it to myself. A must try!
