Uncaring and waste of time. Went here after a long drive and waited for an hour to see Dr Khan. He came in the room in a rushed manner and spoke to me for less than 5mins. Just took a quick look. Relied on what I told him rather than forming his own judgement, had virtually nothing to add as to what could be the underlying reasons for my condition or provide any solution. Terrible attitude and lack of any attention to the patient. The GP that I saw earlier was more helpful and knowledgeable than him. Dont know why people would bother to go to this place. Avoid if you can.

Been waiting over 6 months for my mom's cataract surgery. Have called more than a few times, can't ever get a live person who answers. Left a message no response. My mom has been on a waitlist and only want an update. Paid her $350 for her fitting and never heard anything after. Been considering paying elsewhere, as we are in urgent need, my mom can't see and had fallen and broken her arm. Seniors are clearly not in a priority.

The place is massive and the wait can be over an hour. Then once your wait is over, the doctor is in and out in less than 5 minutes. Zero respect for our time. Try to find an practice where it's not just about overbooking patients and charging OHIP.

SMILE Surgery
Do not know why it is reviewed so horribly... I had a great time. My appointments were quick and even when I missed one - they were able to squeeze me in. The operation was quick and flawless. Seeing without glasses is just amazing. Still shocking how good it is.
Recommend that after you do the operation - you go home and take a nap after you have done your first drops. I woke up to being able to see very clear and just amazed.

My experience at Clarity Laser Eye was amazing!
Firstly, my consultation was booked within a week!. At my consultation, I was greeted by the front staff who took my medical history and immediately transferred me to the pretesting room where the technicians took my measurements and prepped me for the doctor. Once the testing was done, Dr. Sanghera examined my eyes and thoroughly explained the results including which procedures I would be a great candidate for. He explained in great detail each procedure as well as what to expect post-surgery and the recovery period. Once we came to a conclusion

I had a consultation here with Dr. McGuire and throughout the whole consultation I kept receiving smart-aleck responses from him. He gave me three options and when I asked him what he would advise, seeing as he is the professional, and instead I got a sarcastic response from him. Eventually, I decided to do the surgery right after the consultation and they proceeded with the numbing. To note, I've had surgery before in the past, and before ever beginning a surgery, I've always been asked if the area is numb yet or if I could feel anything with the procedure explained/broken down for me. My experience with Clarity Laser Eye was wonderful! I had the ReLEx SMILE procedure done a couple weeks ago, and couldn't be happier with the experience and the results. At the initial consultation, I was happily greeted by the staff. After some pre-testing, Dr. Baseer Khan examined my eyes and confirmed that I was a candidate for the SMILE procedure. The entire process was explained well, and I was a given a package with more details regarding the SMILE procedure, as well as things to expect such as dosage of the medications after the procedure.

As a healthcare professional, I am disheartened to see specialists providing profit-over-patient care. Overbooking and money-making schemes need to stop. No one should be waiting Hosptial/ER wait-times at a specialist. Unfortunately, we have too much of this in Canada. Don’t know if it’s greed, or lack of staff (possibly both). Could’ve sworn I saw one of the staff/nurses dispose the sharps (biohazard) container incorrectly. Two words: Chaotic energy.

Dr Gunnderson is a wonderful Dr. He is nice, kind, down to earth, thorough, and knowledgeable. I have three eye conditions that I have to see an ophthalmologist for. Dr Gunnderson identified all of them when a retinal specialist missed one last week that had already been diagnosed. I highly recommend seeing Dr Gunnderson.

My husband, daughter and I have been patients of this office for several years. I have absolutely no complaints. Office staff and Dr. Gunderson are always pleasant and knowledgeable. We look forward to our visits with them.

Awesome! Dr.Gunderson was very thorough w/ me. I went from using glasses as needed to contacts. He explained everything well and took the time to fit different size/style of contacts to make sure I felt comfortable. Front desk receptionist was also great!!

I had my annual eye exam with Dr. Gunderson today and I found him to be very thorough and knowledgeable, and he also took the time to explain everything (especially the images of the inside of my eyes) very thoroughly. The OptoMap machine was a great alternative to having my eyes dilated (it does cost an additional $30 but well worth it IMO). i would definitely recommend Dr. Gunderson to anyone looking for an optometrist.

I just had my first visit with Dr. Gunderson. I appreciated the convenience of being able to book my appt. online. He was personable, thorough and professional. His staff was friendly and efficient. They used what appeared to be state of the art equipment and I didn't have to wait. And all for a very reasonable price!

Love this place! Have been seeing Dr G since he took over the clinic from Dr Staci. (Who we also loved) My whole family goes here yearly. Have been pleased with the service and care we get.

Minus one star because the wait area is painfully small. With our family of 7 it's cramped, especially if there are other patients waiting.

This office, now owned by Dr. Scott Gunderson, is great! I have a wonderful experience every time is visit. The office is immaculate, and uses all the latest technology. My favorite part is the ability to schedule my yearly exam online. Dr. Gunderson will do everything possible to make sure you are fully satisfied with your vision.
I recommend Dr. Scott Gunderson to anyone needing an optometerist.

My husband and I went to his office in the Costco today. My husband had an eye appt. and said Dr. Gunderson was very thorough. He went to Berkeley for his OD degree. It is always good to know where your doctor has received his degree. The office is very efficient. It is a small office but quiet considering it was in the Costco. It is $69 for a regular eye exam which includes dilation of your eyes. There is a small waiting area inside the office.

Followup: My earlier glowing review still stands. Not only did I get my new glasses and contacts in a timely fashion, the lovely ladies remembered that I mentioned my weird sleep schedule and made sure to give me my notifications in a timely way that didn't wake me up!

It was just another example of how thoughtful and on-the-ball they are.
