I have rented from Chris Cooper and his management company for the past year. I have been very pleased with professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond to make my living situation very positive! Chris was very reasonable to work with and even came after hours to help with any issues we were having!

MBG Property Management just doesn't provide quality housing to thousands of people, it provides an EXCELLENT place to build a career. I worked at several properties as a maintenance technician in my time with MBG and all the staff across the board were great.
MBG treats it's employees like family, something that is not found in the workplace much anymore.
If you're looking for rewarding work, look no further.

Chris Cooper, one of the owners of MBG, was phenomenal our entire stay on West 70th Street. We were able to rely on him for any issues that we ran into, which wasn’t many. He was ALWAYS available via cellphone or email whenever we needed him. I would highly recommend renting from them!

I have been very pleased with Chris and his management team. He has made himself available to help out with specific needs in our rental. He has always been very nice and respectful.

Although we did not choose to rent through MGB, I had the most positive and helpful experience thanks to Jackie Busse. She helped us with our search by answering MANY questions I had about the process since I was a first time renter. There are so many great things I could say about this company but was astounded by the great service and attentiveness I received from Jackie. Would highly recommend this company for anyone looking to rent.

I stayed at one of Chris' rental properties short-term, and it was an all around positive experience. Whenever I reached out, I got a response the same day. Chris was helpful and even came to the property after hours and on the weekend! Would definitely recommend checking out MBG's properties if you are looking for a new place!

I spoke with Tiffany about a showing. She set up the showing then we applied got a denial letter that says we can appeal (since covid has affected my family the last 12months is not a good look on our credit history) but beside that. I called and emailed her 4 times and never got a response. My family was willing to pay 6months upfront or anything really but never got a response. VERY unprofessional and VERY disrespectful. Even if they couldn't let us live there they could have atleast responded! Very disappointing and would not recommend!

I would say less than adequate repairs and concerns.
I need new carpet in the bedrooms. They refuse to allow me to do it on my dime.

Jackie is very unprofessional. I have never came across someone who lacks compassion and empathy.
One word of advice Jackie, if you intend on working with people, learn to be more understanding and empathize with your tenants.

I got to work with Jody Williams while she was mgr at Maple Pond Homes when I moved in. She knows how to maneuver effectively throughout a myriad of governmental housing rules and regulations, without losing sight of the larger picture: People matter. Home grown authenticity, she's sharp, with a good sense of humor. Skillful. In dealing with human beings, vs. stringent regulatory absolutes, it becomes quickly obvious that in her work with you, she demonstrates the wisdom in "seeing the forest through the trees." In any capacity, all who get to work with her are the better for it.

Very unprofessional management. I spoke with a woman named Juanita Pekay about concerns I had with my apartment that they manage. She was very disrespectful and unwilling to address concerns about privacy. Sad to see a company represented by someone like that. I will be sure to avoid any properties managed by this company in the future.
