Our company was established in 2010 as a small in-house management company for our owner's real estate portfolio. Over the years, the company grew into a full service real estate company for residential and commercial properties. Our entire management system was developed with an "owner mentality" and it contributes to everything we do.
His personal portfolio consists of 30 plus single, multi-family and commercial properties, his understanding of what it takes to operate for a positive return is hands on. Spearheading the operations of Mauzy Properties, Chris is involved in all aspects of the management process. From financial evaluation, to leasing, and tenant relations.

I have rented a Mauzy-managed property for over a year. I am actually in property management, so I have a particularly critical eye, but my experience overall has been a very positive one! Our specific manager Nina is always just a quick text away, and their service technician Garrett was thorough in his work, cleaned up any mess and even called to go through what he'd accomplished...a rare trait!
The only thing keeping this review from 5-stars is that it can sometimes take a while for work orders to get completed, but that's more an issue of staffing than service. When your fix is a big ticket

There is no professionalism with this company at all.
Firstly, moved in with home unclean and no move-in inspection.
Secondly, appliance default, and thirdly, a big problem with the maintenance department. Three weeks of a broken shower in a 4 bedroom with one shower. I am still waiting for the bathroom to be fixed. In one word no showers for me and my family members. What A discomfort. There seems to be a lot of positive comments from landlords as those are treated well but to the tenants the rapport is terrible. I will not be renting from this company again as this is the worst one I have ever

I have called with several questions and needed things fixed in the past. Megan Kissinger has always been there to help me out. I was super impressed when I locked myself out of my place and called an automated number and left a message. I also emailed Megan and she responded to my email within a few minutes, even though she was off and it was a weekend. She helped me figure out a solution to that problem and has always been professional and happy to listen to my issues.

My friend and I had a great experience renting with Mauzy Properties. The move in and move out were very smooth. They had a great response time for maintenance and were always very friendly. We would have stayed in our Mauzy Apartment for a long time if it wasn’t for us moving out of state! I have worked with many property management companies over the years as a renter, and Mauzy Properties by far has been the most professional and responsive. Anybody can offer service with a smile, and they do that well, but it’s in the face of adversity where this organization shines. Any time I have had an issue (and older homes are all bound to), the staff is immediately up to the task using a triage approach to remedy. The contractors they utilize are all friendly, professional, skilled, and thorough as well. Stellar team!
