Our leadership team offers years of experience in education combined with a passion for inspiring students to reach their greatest potential. Mrs. Rochie Berkowitz has been a girls high school teacher and mechaneches in Cleveland for over 17 years. She received her BA from Maimonides College and her teachers' training and certification through Yavne Teachers Seminary and Ateres Bnos Yerushalayim.
In addition to the time she has spent in the classroom, Mrs. Berkowitz utilized opportunities to connect with her students in her roles as Student Council Coordinator and Director of annual school productions. Over the years, she has managed countless extra-curricular programs, developed fundraising campaigns and coordinated various learning programs for students in grades 9-12.

Services
Chaviva High School for Girls is a Jewish high school dedicated to empowering young women through innovative and individualized learning. We combine foundational Torah values with a fresh perspective to education. We're joining Cleveland's strong community of institutions as an additional educational option available to young women.
Located in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, on the beautiful and secluded thirty-three acre grounds of Park Synagogue Main, the Ratner Educational Center is an ideal spot for Chaviva girls. This private and serene campus allows our students to disconnect from the distractions of the world around them and focus wholeheartedly on their studies.
The Chaviva guidebook includes many of the standards and expectations for each Chaviva student. We invite you to read through our guidebook to gain insight and perspective into our program. Please note, all applicants and their parents are required to read the guidebook in its entirety before applying to Chaviva High School.
We believe that when a student is challenged, her accomplishments become that much more meaningful. In our Judaic studies classes, girls are introduced to Torah as a source of Divine inspiration and connection. The goal of each lesson includes finding the relevance and meaning in the words of Torah they are learning, as well as building key textual skills that will enable our students to learn independently.
