Since 1969, Cleveland Central Catholic (CCC) has been bringing young people together to learn, live and serve as one family in Christ. You are beginning the process of choosing a high school and starting the next chapter in your life. In doing so, you need to make sure the school is the right fit for you and takes you where you want to go in life.

This can be both a very anxious time and also a time of excitement. Cleveland Central Catholic is a school that has a unique history, culturally diverse students, and an on- and off-campus community spanning generations. Our school is rooted in the Gospel values of Jesus Christ. We offer a faith-based education, rich in Catholic tradition.
Services
At Central Catholic our mission is to challenge and encourage students in our care to excel academically, to nurture an environment that helps each person to deepen their faith in God, and to live a life of service so our students may face the future with confidence and hope. Cleveland Central Catholic is a co-educational, comprehensive school for students in grades 9 through 12.
Cleveland Central Catholic High School is a coeducational school rooted in the Gospel values of Jesus Christ and focused on college and career readiness. Our mission is to challenge and encourage our students to excel academically, to deepen their faith in God, and to live a life of service, so they may face the future with confidence and hope.
The history of Cleveland Central Catholic dates to 1881, when two of its four "founding" schools were created - St. Stanislaus and St. Michael the Archangel. Subsequently, two other schools were chartered, at Our Lady of Lourdes and St. John Cantius parishes. In 1968, these four Cleveland urban Catholic "parish" high schools merged to form Cleveland Central Catholic High School (CCC).
Cleveland Central Catholic's Campus Ministry team offers a retreat for each grade level so that our students can grow on their faith journey. Freshmen retreat is done off campus and involves working together in team building activities on a low ropes course. It is led by seniors who spend the afternoon welcoming our freshmen to CCC and imparting some of the wisdom they have learned about high school in their years so far.
With educational roots dating to 1881, we are a culturally diverse school welcoming persons of all faiths. Community/Study Body: Located three miles from downtown Cleveland, 98% of our students are residents of the City of Cleveland. 86% of CCCHS's Class of 2020 were accepted into college, earning college scholarships in excess of 1.5 million dollars.

Glad the Board finally got "smart" and removed Primcipal Baginski. Looking forward to the new principal who has class and will bring Central back to the fine institution it was under Brother Bob and prior leadership!

This is the best Catholic High School in Pittsburgh. I am now a proud alumnus and am grateful for the rigorous course material getting me ready for college.

Good school, very strong alumni and parents groups, football is a big deal here but so is academics. For a Catholic boys school, it is even fairly open minded. Central Catholic gives you what you put into it. If you're a jock, you will get a jock experience; if you are a nerd, you can get a nerd experience. If you're an introvert, you'll get nothing more than yourself. Central doesn't "make men of boys" it enables boys to become their own man. So I'd recommend it for students who are willing to experience a rounded high school and partake of as much as possible.

Students are very rude and offensive at football games. Administration fails to address the issue. For a Catholic institution, the students don't exercise Catholic values.

Do not attend this institution if not of the Catholic faith. As someone of an uncommon religious orientation, I receive static even years after attending it. The older faculty is aging, but competent teachers. The they are slowly being phased out by younger ones that lack their flair and the students respect. Legacy enrollment result in the same families filling up year after year. The social cadre can be more exclusive than other schools.
