We have been educating young men in the tradition of St. Benedict since 1927. Our students grow in mind, body, and spirit in preparation for success in higher education and in life. Become a Man of Benedictine. Benedictine High School was established in 1927 by the Benedictine Monks of Cleveland. Our role as an educational community is to model, educate and challenge each student to become a part of the tradition and spirit of St. Benedict.

Benedictine is a community made up of enthusiastic young men who strive academically, spiritually and physically to become Men of Benedictine. Benedictine High School offers an exciting experience of growth and development for young men from around Northeast Ohio. Benedictine provides a great opportunity for young men to learn and grow.

Hallmarks Report

You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And the second is like it. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the prophets. The love of God and neighbor is at the heart of the Gospel and at the heart of Saint Benedict's Rule.

Tuition Report

Thank you for your continued investment in your son's development to prepare him to be the future leader of his family, businesses, and communities. We also offer access to the many character-building sports, extra-curricular activities, and clubs. Tuition assistance is available for families with financial need.

College Credit Plus Report

The below information is a summation of this meeting. If you have questions or concerns, please talk with the Academic Dean or your School Counselor. Take an AP class and test and get a score of 3 or higher - Some colleges don't accept AP scores. Take Honors Microeconomics with Mr. Stircula through University of Iowa BizInnovator Program.

Learning Commons Report

The Benedictine High School Learning Commons contains our Library and Writing Center, as well as collaboration space for group projects. Library: The BHS Library contains books and audiovisual materials on a variety of topics. Students are permitted to check out items for up to three weeks (one week plus two renewals).

Alumni Report

Benedictine Alum, Bob Taylor '60 organizes a quarterly Benedictine Bengal Breakfast in Macedonia, Ohio. Last quarter, Chris Lorber '04 and Doc Bossu '67 updated about twenty of our alumni on school news. Diverse suppliers were nominated and awarded based on their performance above and beyond the norm to exhibit quality, class and professionalism in all aspects of their business.

One of the best schools out there. If you want a dedicated staff, life lessons, and the best collage preparation this is the school for you. Shadow at as many schools as you’d like but this school will stand out with its unique atmosphere and staff that want to see you grow as Men of Benedictine!
