At Townhouse we strive to make the admissions process as smooth as possible. Placing a loved one in a skilled nursing facility can be stressful and troublesome. Our goal is to guide you along the way. We urge families to come for a tour to obtain a better feel of our facility.
Once the decision has been made to admit a patient to our facility, they will be assigned to a social worker who will ease the initial transition into the facility and will continue to be there to literally and figuratively hold their hand throughout their stay at Townhouse.

I know it will be a good day when I see a Townhouse aide come into my room with a happy smile, greeting me with another day here at Townhouse. No matter how I feel when I first get up, it's always nice to know that I will be greeted by a friendly, happy smile. No matter how many residents they have, they always seem to make me feel like I'm the only one.

I do not know why the previous reviews were bad. My sister in law has been here 5 days so far and in critical care. She has gotten the best care. I am a nurse so I know what good care is all about. Every single person has been so nice and helpful. They follow covid protocols and just give excellent care....from the people at the desk, social worker, RT, PT, OT, nurses and aides, doctors etc... shout out to Barbara!! I feel very comfortable having my loved one here.

My father was a patient at Town house nursing home in Uniondale, for a year and it was extremely a horrible experience and place to send your loved one to be there as a patient. Even though he had Alzheimer's and slight weakness when walking, he was able to walk with support. The care was very poor that the nursing staff did not assist him to get changed or even give him showers. Each day, we had to go wash and change him. Besides the poor care, the staff was nasty and mean when approached. The staff used to leave him on wheel chair day and night without putting him back in bed. This caused

This place accepted my mother, swore they could manage the wound pack, she goes there and due to transport starts to leak, 3 hours of panic by the staff and back to the hospital she goes. Place is clean, no parking and they will yes you to death. If you need a place to stretch out you knee or rest for a month. Otherwise no true clinical staff.

My aunt was admitted here as her step down from hospital care then hospital/short term rehab to the Townhouse. We didn't have much choice because the acute rehabs wouldn't take her due to the care she needed
First the place is rundown. Old beds and equipment. She needs a wound vac and it never works no matter how much we complain.
The food is inedible. We have to bring her food or she would never eat. When family members call to get an update they flat out lie and say she eats 75% of her food. We go visit 7 days a week and we know what is going on there.
The physical therapy is amazing

My mother in law has been a patient here since 2013. Her health is extremely bad that is why she is a patient here. She is on a ventilator to help her breathe. She can not move and has a feeding tube in her stomach. Most patients come and never leave. My mother in law gets ok care. It depends on who is working. The good thing is that the staff move her around a lot. She has never gotten bed sores. She seems well rested most of the time. But again it depends on who is working. Not a great nursing home but not that bad either.
