Dr. Allen Ruane and staff are well known for making patients feel comfortable and at ease in a kind and professional atmosphere. Dr. Cassandra Gafford joined Dr. Ruane's team in 2015. She also teaches at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, training third and fourth-year dental students.
Cosmetic Dentistry is any type of treatment or procedure to help you be proud of your smile. For some people it can be a Teeth Whitening treatment while others may need Complete Dental Reconstruction. Bridges and Crowns, Dental Bonding, Tooth Colored Fillings, Porcelain Veneers, Implants and an array of other services are available to do a smile makeover.
Pleasant aesthetics, because the presence of teeth gives a natural appearance to the face, and wearing a denture to replace missing teeth provides support for the lips and cheeks and corrects the collapsed appearance that results from the loss of teeth. Better pronunciation, because replacing missing teeth, especially the anteriors, enables patients to speak better.

To complete your registration, we ask that you bring a copy of your current insurance card and photo ID.

i called to try and make an appointment. the fist time i called i was left on hold for 20 m, the second time, the woman questioned me on if i even had insurance (sweetie i am a business analyst and have benefits and insurance), she then refused to take my appt bc she stated she needed the ID number on my card. i Hung up on her. not welcoming at all. I called dental dreams on cottman ave immediately after and they scheduled me with no problem only asking that i bring my ID and insurance card to my appointment . Smh

If zeros stars were available, that's what they would get. Speedy speedy service but "Linda and her partner in crime up front. Just a couple of chatty pattys!! In between her whiny phone calls "HI it's Linda from dr ruanes office" these two just can't stop talking about who does what and who owes what and "oh everyone has a story". Rude, little did you know the waiting room can hear you ladies. I understand working in an office is boring but come on now!!!! Highly unprofessional.

Thank you yelp for leading me to my dental soulmate! I've been artfully avoiding the dentist for many many years, but in an effort to finally embrace this adulthood thing, I decided to bite the fluoride tray and finally go for it. Dr. Ruane and his staff made it a very pleasant experience, and I'm not afraid any more!
Trish the dental hygienist is one of the nicest people I've ever met. She made me feel very welcome, told me how beautiful my teeth are (score!), and most of all didn't get all preachy on me about not keeping up with dentist appointments.

I've been going to Dr. Ruane for about 3 years now. He is one of the best dentists I've been to. His bed side manner is excellent. He always treats you with respect. His office staff is always nice and pleasant. It is always a cheerful environment and the office is ALWAYS clean. I definitely would and have recommended him to anyone who needs a new dentist.
