Our children are our future and there is almost nothing that requires more immediate attention than a sick child. As a family medical practice, children are some of our most frequent patients. Our pediatric medical care can treat a variety of medical issues, ranging from minor coughs and colds to more serious issues.
Women face a unique set of health issues that are inevitable with age. Even though some of these issues such as menopause, are expected, they can still be very challenging. There are also unexpected health issues that can arise in women as they age. Desert Bloom Family Medicine can test for these conditions and detect any illnesses that may exist.
As men age, they may develop health issues specific to their age and gender. Some of these issues are a normal part of the aging process, and some may be signs of more serious problems. There are certain tests every man should get from his doctor as soon as he turns 40. These tests should be given in regular intervals, as they can be integral to a long and healthy life.
As your child develops into an adolescent, some medical issues fade away and give way to new ones. The doctors at Desert Bloom Family Medicine are fully equipped and prepared to adapt our care to your growing child's changing body. Adolescence is the period after a child hits puberty and before provider maturity.

Been coming here for many years. I've always loved this doctors office. Now I can't say the same. Can barely get through phone lines to schedule an appointment. It took me two days of continuous calling before someone answered so I can make an appointment. One of my visits I was waiting more than an hour and half before I was seen. They finally came in to see me after I walked out of the room and said I was leaving. Went from having to go every three months so they can prescribe me adhd medication to them switching my doctor and now I have to go every month. Such an inconvenience when its uncertain

Dr. Chorney is amazing! He’s been my doctor for many years but I recently had a medical emergency and as soon as I called for a follow-up appointment he got me in right away. He spent so much time going over my medical condition and filling out medical forms. I highly recommend Dr. Chorney for anyone looking for an honest and caring doctor.

Initially I chose this office because they seemed to have good reviews however my experience wasn’t that great. The reception staff needs to work on greeting clients friendlier, smile and set a positive office atmosphere. My primary NP was unavailable for an appointment so I had to go with whoever was available at the time. The NP I did see wasn’t compassionate towards my medical condition. I didn’t feel that comfortable. I write this review to provide feedback on what can be improved at the Indian School location.

Dr.Heiler is the most sincere concerned Dr. I HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET. I have seen 24 Dr. For the same issue with no resolve. Seems to me that there are to many hands in one pile. (So to speak). I have ben sent from one Dr. To the next. Until I came to conclusion none of these special Dr. New a darn thing about my issue. Dr.Heiler admitted that but is looking for the answer. And I believe him. If you need a good semi old fashioned ed Dr. On your side see him. As for the front end staff they need to go back to school for customer service as does the pain management clinic I was referred

I walked in told them I needed an FMLA paper filled out. I said can u have the Dr fill this out. The office person said u need an appointment. I said I said I understand that they can fill it out. The lady said the Dr needs to see u. Every thing on that sheet is in my file. Its easy to fill out. Im looking for another place to go. One of the women asked when I got the paper last week. She said in a rude. She asked why I didn't come in sooner. I told her I just found out I have cancer. All they had was the 7th of September but I needed it before the 7th

I'm a patient of Desert Bloom Family Medicine for six years! My husband and children are also cared for by this practice. The staff is always so courteous, warm, and welcoming. My calls are returned extremely promptly. My pharmacy has no difficulties with medication refill requests. Everything has a quick turnaround extremely exceptional, coming from somebody who worked with doctors for over 11 years. I am impressed how well the staff works together. My orders are handled very promptly from referral coordination, to outpatient testing. If lab work is required they make it very simple for me. I
