I recently attended a work Christmas party, which was in the Rhino room. The food and atmosphere were great. The 2 staff members serving our party were excellent. One of them even helped our group secure a ride home when we had difficulty doing so. It was well beyond what was expected, and much appreciated. I hope to visit Artisan 179 again. Highly recommended.

We had a FABULOUS time celebrating our 4 year anniversary at Artisan.
We're new to the area, so this was our first time here. We expected a more relaxed environment considering every night we walked past, that's what it seemed like! However, it was loud and kinda rowdy (which is definitely not a bad thing, just different than we expected). The place is small, so voices carry easily. But it was decorated very tastefully and it was so fricken cute!

Chris our waiter was beyond amazing, he went above and beyond with our experience. We told him to take charge and that is exactly what he did, everything he prepared for us & presented us was perfection. The owner, Ted checked on our table numerous times throughout our dining experience, made sure it was phenomenal. To top of our dinner, the food was even exceptional! From appetizers, to entrees, to drinks my family was very pleased with our Artisan179 experience. Next time we are in Wisconsin, we will definitely be back. Thank you for this night!

Just a fabulous experience! The owner, Ted, greeted me very warmly at the door, and somehow immediately knew I was there to meet my friend Mindy. The food was delicious, and plated beautifully. The best part of the evening though was the service. Our waiter, Jake (a new employee) was lovely, and Ted made me feel like I was the most important person he had in his restaurant tonight. Outstanding. Thank you for such a great evening.

Our favorite restaurant in the area! Amazing food, awesome service and wonderful atmosphere. Outside seating overlooking lake and beautiful sunsets... the best! Owner Ted, knows how to run a restaurant and makes us feel like kings! Server Rob... and Cheyanne... the best! The Brussel Sprouts appetizer is not to be missed. Bread pudding! Did I mention it's our favorite place?

We stopped at Artisan 179 after reading a review on Yelp. It was absolutely fantastic! In addition to the beautiful lake view dining, there was a musician playing guitar and singing, and the food was delicious! The server recommended the chocolate sachet dessert which my husband and I split. It was perfect. I can't wait to go back!

VERY disappointed.. after waiting almost 40 minutes for apps the server came up to tell us the kitchen was slammed. Not only did our main course take almost 2 hours to get to our table. But it came cold, over salted, over cooked. The home made pasta was cold and clumped together.. I could cut a knife through the chunks of pasta. I couldn't finish eating my lobster, due to how much SALT came on top of it. I will say the server was sweet, obviously not his fault. The cocktails were very delicious as well. But so disappointed with the quality of food.

Great little spot with a good view of the lake if you sit outside. It was a hot day but there are plenty of umbrellas outside to provide shade. Our waitress was really nice and recommended drinks that were tasty. We just got a cheese plate to share for a midday snack and it was tasty but could have been better. I'm not a cheese expert but it seemed like there was 2 medium and 1 hard cheese and no soft cheese which is my favorite. The fresh honey was awesome, though.

This place charges five star prices for two star food. At our table, both pasta entrees were lukewarm and way over salted. Like not fully edible. $26 for each. The apps, lobster lollipops and breaded cauliflower were pretty good, but pretty much just come with a sauce that is Pick n Save sweet and sour sauce, so I was not impressed. I can't imagine how much of a sucker you would have to be to order a steak here, they are almost $50!

Really great experience with good but not totally mind blowing cuisine. Attentive staff, calm outdoor dining on a lazy weekend at the lake always appeals to us. However, having the actual meal live up to the price was an unexpected surprise. The grilled cheese was really tasty and the burrata plate was fresh and grand.

Great place to meet up! Decided to go on on a double date with my sister and husband and this was the perfect place! We decided to try this place out on a Friday night. I definitely suggest making reservations the place was hopping! We arrived around 7 PM at our reservation time and we're sat immediately. Atmosphere is loud and social. They offer a great variety of craft cocktails which I enjoyed many!

Regret to give this low of a rating, but I had to go with a 2. An unfortunate misunderstanding, my leftovers which was half of a good meal, we're thrown away. I'm certain I replied yes when asked if I wanted a box, but an honest mistake. She had already brought me a box for my appetizer, which was huge and I didn't finish. Then the main meal was also a big portion, so I had about half of it left. Now this is nice that they give good portions.

If local, well-sourced ingredients and flavorful culinary execution is important to you, Artisan 179 is worth a visit! The atmosphere is a little eclectic, but it's classy overall. The menu is super appealing and hard to choose as everything looks good. And it all IS good. At least everything we had was delicious.

I came for a work dinner with a few colleagues and it was so cute! It's right on the water and seems like a great place for patio dining in the summer. They recently got a new chef so we were treated to an updated menu. For appetizers, we got the charcuterie board, dumplings and tempura cauliflower. I don't like cauliflower but I could not stop eating this one, it's a must try! The cocktail menu is very fun, they even have a few interactive drinks.
