Michael's House Of Prime
For over 90 years our small supper club on Pewaukee Lake has been family owned, serving diners delicious slowed cooked prime rib and other wonderful entrees and appetizers. While the families have changed, names like Gus Frank, Duke Mitchell, Ray and Dorothy Anderson along with their children, Debby, Judy, and Michael have each carefully taken on the responsibility of bringing great food with equally great service.

Both David and Rick live within 5 miles of the restaurant and one, or the other, or often times both are there to welcome you, and do their best to insure a positive experience, whether it is a crafted cocktail, a glass of fine wine, wonderful dinner of prime rib or one of our many new featured entrees created by Chef Erik Hyslop.

The prime rib, the ribeye, or the duck... I always have a hard time picking, we love this place! We ended up getting engaged here and Sarah and the staff went out of their way for us!
Update 2/20/21 - We went back to the pop-up offering at the Petite Chef and had an amazing dinner. One of the best French onion soups I've ever had, the prime rib was on point, and the risotto was perfect. Sarah and the staff caught wind our wedding was in 22 days and surprised us with an wonderful dessert.

I'll start by saying that our waitress was very nice. She provided us the best service she could. The food on the other hand, was awful. The only food item that tasted good was the French onion soup. My partner ordered the blonde cut rib to be cooked medium. It was overcooked and rubbery. I ordered the shrimp scampi. The noodles were doused in so much sauce, it was overwhelming and ruined the taste of everything. We both ordered a baked potato on the side, which were undercooked. They were difficult to cut into and weren't worth eating.
It was such a waste to spend $130 for bad food.

Welcomed as soon as we walked in. There were 5 in our group. We sat at the bar and enjoyed Brandy Old Fashion's (Korbel) while chatting with the Owners and Bartender. At dinner we all ordered steak 4 prime rib and 1 Filet. We all agreed it was the best steak and dinner we have ever had along with the service. We e definitely be back!

Very disappointed, took my wife there for a date night. We ordered prime rib, which was a very good size, she had a filet, baked potato and some mushrooms. We started with soup as well, the clam chowder was very peppery, the prime rib was super dry and needed a ton of Au jus just to eat it, also no seasoning as well. The wife’s filet came out shaped very weird, but again very dry and no seasoning. We decide to take dessert to go because at this point we just wanted to leave, but we were still trying to be nice because the server was very nice to us. Got home and looked at the key lime pie we

Food was very good. Service was not so good. Maybe a bad night for our particular server. Sat with empty drinks. One person in our party ended up going to the bar for a drink. I feel when you're spending that kind of money, service should be rocking it! 5 star on the food.
