My 3 year old daughter slipped and fell over the weekend and somehow knocked her 2 front teeth a little loose. I wouldn't have noticed but my daughter said her teeth hurt. The office got us an appointment right away. I was nervous since our last appointment was a year ago and it did not go well. My daughter was scared. Today went fantastic. The Dr. Marina and Nicole were so awesome with my daughter.

We knew 5 minutes in that we're going to get this done, walk out and never come back. I was a proud parent pointed my camera at my sweet boy when he got into the dental chair with all smiles (that is great strides from his very 1st visit!), but the hygienist gave me a frown and said "are you recording?" in a condescending tone and pointed to a sign on the wall behind me that said no recording. I then apologized and stopped snapping pics. The Hygienist proceeded to lower the chair so our boy can lie down. Our boy gave it his best and lay down for a few minutes, but as soon as she

Today my 3 kids had their 6 month cleanings. As we are walking to the car My 6 yr old shouts, "they are so nice!". One of the very few things they all agreed on this entire summer! It makes me so happy that their dental experience is such a positive experience.
In the past, amoung the 3, we've also been through teeth extractions, cavity fillings and tooth trauma. Thanks to the best staff and doctors my kids never fear going to the dentist!

Just meh. They weren't terrible but not impressed either. It kind of just felt like a factory line. We decided to bring the kids to the family practice we see and it's so much more personal. No pinning kids down to get stuff done. They gave my one year old wicky sticks as his "prize" which he immediately tried to eat before I threw them out. It says 6+ on the package. How about a sticker or something age appropriate ... you are a pediatric dentist so be prepared!

Excellent experience. First time visit and everyone was excellent. Our son wasn't into sitting in the chair until the dentist came over and he seemed to cooperate when she got there. She took his queue and was able to quickly count and check his teeth. He did better then anticipated and it was definitely due to the staff. I'm hoping the next appointment in six months will go as smoothe.

WoW !!!! Dr. Mickey is not only great with the adults, he is super with the children. My son had his first cavity (cavity bug) and is not a big fan of going to the dentist, so as you can imagine we were in for a horrible visit. Nope, he did great and all because Dr. Mickey explained it in kid detail with the cavity bug and how he was putting him to sleep and getting him out of his tooth before he called his friends and then he would have more cavity bugs that could eat his teeth and gums. With the exception of not liking the raincoat in his mouth to keep his mouth open, he had no problems, think

My son has been going there since he had his first teeth. So glad we picked Dr Mickey. Have had no issues so far and highly recommend him. Other than usual, we have a cavity fills and really like his approach which is super-kid-friendly. Kudos to a great setup and staff. Fingers-crossed for future experiences to continue this way. Note, he came highly recommended from my own dental hygienist, so glad I acted on that recommendation.

I have been taking my two sons to Dr. Mickey's office since 2005, and have had the pleasure of interacting with several different doctors and hygienists. We have had basic cleanings and unfortunately 5 or 6 cavities, most recently just 2 days ago.
I strongly recommend Dr. Mickey's office based on several factors.
1) WONDERFUL FACILITY: this place is EXACTLY what a kids dentist office should look like...bright colors, fun posters and wall art, and several walls of paper teeth cutouts with kids' names on them for special recognition to your little patient.
2) AMAZING STAFF: I have

I do wish I'd researched before taking my kids here. Terrible office staff, rude and uncaring. Not responsive or sensitive about billing issues.
WORST of all though, is the Dr perservering on with a procedure while my 3rd grader was screaming he could still feel it. I kid you not, he kept going, while my boy was sobbing and whimpering.
Never, ever use this office.

After recently moving to the area I sent my children for a dental check up with Dr Mickey. He specializes in child dentistry. Unknown to me my dental insurance did not cover $28.00 of the bill which come to find out was covered. Four months later I take my two children to Dr Mickey's office for a follow up visit and I was told that I had a $188 outstanding balance. I was told that $28 was not covered by my insurance provider and since I did not pay (I didn't know anything about it) it office policy is to double the fee. Okay... in my book $28 x 2 = $56 so why is the bill $188?! Good question
