Dr. Perlitsh graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1991. Upon graduation, she was inducted into the prestigious National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Perlitsh also received the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Student Award for Excellence. Following graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City in 1992.

Following her residency program, she returned to the Tufts University Post Graduate Orthodontic Program, where she earned her degree in 1994. Dr Perlitsh believes in life long learning. She continues to learn and stay current with the newest developments and techniques in orthodontics and the most advanced technologies.

Maria has been a member of our team since 2006. Maria will greet you warmly at our front desk with an engaging smile. She is our financial/insurance coordinator and will work diligently to answer and aid with your financial questions. She graduated from UMass Lowell with a bachelor's in liberal arts.
Wilmington Orthodontics offers comprehensive orthodontic care for children, teenagers, and adults. Orthodontics is a specialty of dentistry that corrects dental and jaw irregularities to improve oral health. Effective orthodontic treatment requires a group effort from patients, parents, your general dentist, and the Wilmington Orthodontics team!
Wilmington Orthodontics utilizes the industry's most advanced and proven orthodontic techniques, including Self-ligated brackets, Clear brackets and Invisalign. We use the latest technology in digital photography and radiography, 3D study models of your teeth, computerized scheduling and accounting, and computerized treatment planning to ensure that you receive the most effective care possible.
Your First Visit Will Consist of a Consultation to Discuss Reasons for Seeking Orthodontic Treatment and Goals of Treatment. We will review any x-rays and notes from your dentist. We will create our own images of your teeth and the surrounding areas using cameras and digital x-rays to help us create a customized orthodontic treatment plan.

I’ve been going to Wilmington Orthodontics for about a year for Invisalign. Dr. Pertlitsh is wonderful and has great attention to detail. Everyone in the office is so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend going here!

Wilmington Orthodontics rocks! Dr. Rachel and her staff are the best. They are always happy and super friendly. Dr. Rachel was recommended by my dentist and my friend, who's a dentist, and it's obvious why. She's a perfectionist and teeth are an art form to her, not just a job. She genuinely cares! I am 45 years old and decided to get Invisalign because I love to smile. I never had braces as a kid. My teeth were naturally crooked and I was ok with that for a long time. But once I turned 40, my front teeth didn't look as nice to me in pictures any more. I now had a good side and a bad side because
