Dr. Perlitsh graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1991. Upon graduation, she was inducted into the prestigious National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Perlitsh also received the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Student Award for Excellence. Following graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City in 1992.
Following her residency program, she returned to the Tufts University Post Graduate Orthodontic Program, where she earned her degree in 1994. Dr Perlitsh believes in life long learning. She continues to learn and stay current with the newest developments and techniques in orthodontics and the most advanced technologies.

Your First Visit Will Consist of a Consultation to Discuss Reasons for Seeking Orthodontic Treatment and Goals of Treatment. We will review any x-rays and notes from your dentist. We will create our own images of your teeth and the surrounding areas using cameras and digital x-rays to help us create a customized orthodontic treatment plan.

Wilmington Orthodontics rocks! Dr. Rachel and her staff are the best. They are always happy and super friendly. Dr. Rachel was recommended by my dentist and my friend, who's a dentist, and it's obvious why. She's a perfectionist and teeth are an art form to her, not just a job. She genuinely cares!
