Palms Car Wash

Seems like this place only cares about how many cars get through and not the quality of the wash. I had to go back and wash my car myself because over half the dirt was still on the car. On the lamp indentation, handles, trim and edges of windowss and rear bumper wasnt even cleaned they just ran over it quickly with a brush and not payed attention to the dirt

I went here for the first time about a week ago because I was in South Austin and needed a car wash. The place I normally go to in Lakeway. I got the equivalent wash, which is the most expensive drive thru they offer.

When I pulled out, the "towel dry" took about 30 seconds and they didn't shine the tires or wheels. This surprised me as their cost is $2 more than the place in Lakeway, where the hand drying is thoroughly and the tires and wheels always end up sparkling. Also some kind of greasy residue is splattered all over the black plastic trim at the bottom of the car. It honestly

Excellent value, they did everything they said they would do, which is strangely a 50/50 chance at other places. The car wash tunnel is highly effective and very fast, there are many options that allow you to work with your budget and also get a really high quality wash with durable protection. The detailing service is very high quality and they offer bundle discounts. Incredibly friendly staff also performed beyond expectation by finishing an entire hour early. Very impressed and will be a regular customer.

Hands down my favorite car wash in town.

For under 20 bucks you get an excellent wash and a hand dry and access to free vacuums.

I am a little unsure of what's up with their hours. I can tell if they open at 7, 8 or 9 or 10. I think some days they just open late or something. Its inconvenient for me but I can over look it.

After the car wash place I had used for 4 years closed I needed to find a place to help keep my MX5 clean. Opened my reliable Yelp app. and found Palms Car Wash and the reviews I trusted made the choice easy.
The crew is friendly and love the work they did. I paid about $75 for a wash and wax (mini-detail) and they did everything from the wash, the tires, the wax and a very thorough interior cleaning. The store and waiting area is nice and having the option to sit inside on hot days is comforting. The service is worth the money and it is a little on the $$$ side. They do have several options of

Great place and location. Prices could be a bit less but it's Austin so don't bother complaining. The only bad thing I could say is that they don't have a machine to wash your mats which is important to me but all and all it's a pretty solid place.

My experience was fantastic! Selling my 2018 van with 80k. I got the showroom special detail. Dropped off 9am picked up at 5 pm. Looked brand new. Put on craigslist and literally first call in 5 minutes car was sold to first caller same day. Detail team were courteous and professional. Did I mention we live in Bastrop..well worth the ride!

Good car wash place which offers free vacuum. Even their basic car wash does a decent job if the car is not very dirty. I am not a fan of the towel dry though as they often leave stain marks on windows and windshield. Maybe they need to change towels more frequently.

A little disappointed in the service this time around. I’ve been here a few times and my car has looked incredible. But today it was like there was a haphazard attempt to detail both inside and outside: There was crumbs and hair in seat crevices that I cleaned after; Had it waxed but still swirl marks remained - I finished buffing myself; I sprayed and cleaned some of the seats as well.
Poor attempt to detail. Hopefully next time is better!

š�️ My car was damaged and the manager is now ignoring us.
On 9/9/21 we were guided into the car wash by an employee, mid way through there was a noise from the driver side of the car but we figured everything was ok as the employees drying our car did not say anything to us.
We arrived home to see our side panel barely hanging on. There were pieces missing and a scratch.
I sent an email that evening asking how they are going to make this right.
The manager, Roland, seemed like he wanted to make things right. My husband came down to speak with him and he said he would send us to a collision

Have given these guys two chances to clean my car. They have scratched the interior leather on both occasions. They did not clean inside the door closures. Not a great experience and will not be returning.

Went in today to get a car wash and after noticing it was closed, I pulled around to exit the parking lot. As I'm driving by one of the employees he throws his hands up and starts yelling "GET THE F out of here". I stopped for a second and looked behind my car in my mirror and he was still yelling at me. I pulled around to the other exit and tried to talk to another employee about it but they just walked away and ignored me. Been coming here for a few years and I think today is the end of my time with Palms Car Wash. what a shame

On 9/24/21 I showed up to get a detail for my wife's car while she was getting a procedure done. I have never been Palms and someone came out and greeted me as I'm sure I looked like a deer in the headlights. He explained the packages and said it would be a two hour wait for a detail. I told him my situation and told him I didn't have that long to wait. He offered a free wash through the automatic wash (I think he felt sorry for my wife's filthy car). I will definitely give them a try again the next time I'm in Austin.

Five star strictly on customer service.

The layout is a little confusing and I had trouble figuring out where I go to pay, which wash do I go to next, where do I go from there. Very large and visible signage is necessary to prevent people from getting turned around. Overall I got a great wash and detail for a reasonable price. They even deep cleaned my trunk area where some liquid had spilled and was soaked into the carpet

I am blown away by the level of customer service starting from the wash station attendant (Christina) right down to the Manager on Duty (Mike). I've been to Palms Car Wash a couple of times since moving to the Brodie Lane area and the amount of kindness and quality customer service I received today, truly left me speechless.
When I went to get my car washed last week one of the car wash attendants suggested I come back Monday - Wednesday to get my car detailed (this way I wouldn't wait 3+ hrs during busy times). I decided to come back Monday morning at 9:00 AM.

BEST car wash & detailing experience EVER!!
- $45 for a shampoo / conditioner on my cloth seats in my mid size SUV (The detail was able to remove a huge sticky stain in my cup holders)
- $20 for the most extensive exterior car wash.
My car looks better than when I bought it. The entire staff was SO helpful and nice. They were working extremely hard when I got there and when I left. One guy was even there on his day off and removed some paint on the exterior. I would recommend Palms to anyone. 10/10.

Great customer service!! Roland called me back when he noticed my missed phone calls and said they would wait for me to get there. Everyone was nice and so sweet. My car looked amazing and so clean!!! Only downside is that i forgot to affirmatively ask them to also vacuum my trunk . Totally my fault though. Can't wait until next time!!!

I really had a bad experience. This is my second time coming here and always bad experience. I went to detailed my car and waited for an hour and never started anything, till i talked to manager and ask for refund. It was a total waste of time and waited for nothing.Its a first come first serve as what they said . But they started some of the cars first before me. I tried to support the business but they don't provide the job that the customer needs.

Great, really hard working staff. They even sent me back to outer wash just because they believed my car was not clean enough (well, may be because last time I washed it was ages ago 🤭) They also have DIY vacuum for wash customers, which is great when it is not one of your lazy days. Oh, I also loved the large patio/garden especially if you want to stay outdoors. All in all, great car wash experience.

Great value for detailing. I've never had my car detailed so I chose to get shampooed seats and a detailed vacuum. After completion of my detail, I immediately noticed crumbs/dirt still in some parts of my car and the gentleman kindly cleaned up what I pointed out. When I arrived home, I did a more thorough check and honestly it just looked like a halfway job. I thought I could've done a better vacuum myself. There was dirt/crumbs under my carpets (as if they didn't lift them to vacuum) and wet crumbs in my seats which made me think he didn't vacuum my seats before shampoo.

Michael and others did an amazing job on my car (even stayed after hours to make sure it was perfect). Highly recommend the showroom special detail package. Only time the car has ever looked better was when the car was bought brand new! Even though I live in north Austin, it is well worth the drive for the fantastic service and attention to detail at this place and will be using them for all my detailing needs in the future. The detail package even includes headlight restoration and engine bay detailing, I just couldn’t stop myself from taking pictures!
