After my stay at rainier springs, I have developed a form of PTSD due to being neglected and abused by the staff.

I voluntarily went to Rainier Springs after a suicide attempt, a struggle to stop smoking cannabis, and depression. I said when I was a kid, I would sometimes hear loud noises when I was falling asleep or dreaming. They tried to use this against me and tried to turn me into an involuntary psychosis patient. They told me in the intake interview that they couldn't diagnose me with anything, yet they were giving me medication for psychotic agitation without my informed consent

When my Dad asked to receive treatment for his substance abuse it felt like a miracle. It was life or death for him. It was nice rainier springs was able to get my Dad into detox so quickly but that was the ONLY positive side of our experience. This place clearly only cares about money because why else would you not fully detox someone from alcohol, send them home completely sick, to the point his words don’t make sense, nauseated, chills, and with absolutely no resources or support. They sent him on his way, set up for complete failure. Not to mention while my Dad was in detox the communication

If you have skitzophrenia you dont belong in a drug rehab.that is the most nastiest place I have been to.call adapt they are clean safe and caring and will meet your mental health care needs.they locked me in a room with nothing for hours and tortured me.who does that? It's ABUSE. Some of you need to be retrained and the other half is caring and worn out.

The doctors don’t listen to the patients. They regularly put court holds on people who don’t need it while discharging people who need to stay(seems like an insurance racket). Staff is a mix of good staff and absolutely vile humans. At best there is miscommunications between staff everything I saw was borderline negligent. I was even given the absolutely wrong meds by a nurse one night who threatened to give me a shot if I didn’t take it, the issue never got resolved. Doctors excessively medicate patients on court holds too, like obscene amounts of meds which is why it seems like a racket

The programs they have are well crafted and may be a little quick. But they can give you more time if needed. I appreciate all the tools I've been give and use consistently.
I really appreciated Nhu Rakoz, she really helped with reinforcement and giving extra tools to help me and the other patients. So a big thanks to her and all the staff!

Attended PHP and IOP at Rainier Springs. My therapist Nhu has be absolutely fantastic and I am so grateful to be in her class. As a veteran, I really admire this place and the hard work that they do. I used to go to the VA for therapy, but this place completely knocks the VA out of the water. Highly recommend. Thank you very much.

I was so relieved that the moment that my daughter wanted help …Rainier Springs was there. Sometimes there is a very small window of time when a person is capable of mustering up the courage to face life on life’s terms. Rainier Springs was there to help me focus on what was important at that moment, offering my daughter emotional support, because they handled everything else.

The biggest issue I have with this facility is that I wasn't allowed to take my medications, that work with my condition, on the night I got there which is a red flag. Then they were going to start over which would have made my condition worse. I told them what I needed but would they have really believed me? My mom was able to talk to the doctor through a lot of trouble of contacting this facility, and her word got me back on track after a night of no medicine.
With that and some various other smaller reasons make this facility the worst place I've ever experienced. I wanted to get out ASAP.

I highly recommend this facility. I have nothing to say poorly about them. I drove 35min to Life line connections and they turned me away on the spot for something they could've disclosed over the phone. I was feeling defeated until I called Rainier springs. I was able to find out they had open beds. So I did a walk in assesment (which is SUPER CONVENIENT)and now im getting admitted! They totally picked up the slack where life line fell short of. I still like Life Line but Rainier Springs went ABOVE and beyond the call of duty. Cant wait to see whats in store for the future. They also have good

I have worked here for just over two years. I am so proud of this hospital and how much pride our outpatient therapists take in each individualized treatment plan for every patient. It is truly inspiring to watch someone come in in a crisis and leave a totally different and bright person. I love working in an industry that I know I am truly Changing peoples lives.

Don't listen to the negative views! I was near death mentally and physically when I turned myself into Rainer springs, I was at 116 pounds, I hated being alive, etc. The staff did there best to change that, they were all very kind, the food was great and plentyful and they keep you medicated to get through such a dark time. Thank you Rainer springs, you saved my life and changed it for the better. I am now at 136 pounds 34 days later and love every day I get to wake up and embrace this beautiful world we live in ❤️

FULL disclosure: I voluntarily checked myself into Rainier Springs - Worst decision ever!

It would be WRONG of me to not post a review and warning about this place. Personally, I was able to look past a lot of the non-medical issues such as poor cleanliness (floors not cleaned, phones not sanitized, privacy not respected, treated like children, and boring as hell) BUT the medical issues and poor continuity of care there makes me feel the need to WARN people of what to actually expect.

The dietician met with me the day before leaving. The food was awful, full of simple carbs and veggies that

I was trying to get help for mental health. They said they had basically open availability for assessments. I sat in their lobby for over 2 hours past when I was supposed to be assessed. They failed to tell me I would be waiting that long and the receptionist barely said a word to me besides "you should get called back soon sorry about the wait". I started getting a little bit anxious from their lack of communication and went to read some reviews to make sure this was the right place for me. From the outside it looks great. But after extensively reading their reviews (google & yelp

I give them only a one because they won't return calls from friends or family. If you ever have a loved one in there I feel sorry for you! The people that work there "except" for a few are very rude when it comes to responding in a timely fashion! I'm disappointed that health professionals care more about clearing a profit than they do about people's feelings or their lives! You have more rights in prison than you do as a mental patient! I feel sorry for anyone seeking mental help!

One of my best friends who is basically my sister, she went to a family member and they helped emit her into inpatient care and then would be moved to outpatient care. They discharged her about a little over a week of inpatient care only to discharge her about twenty times worse of a state than when she was emitted. They even lied on her discharge paperwork saying that she was free of all symptom disorders. If you really love your loved one, don't send them to this place.

If you care at all about your loved ones, do not let them go here. They do not give meds as prescribed, constantly threaten "involuntary commitment", and threaten to tell employers medical information without approval. They do not like family involved and will make snide remarks if they are.
There is absolutely nothing for patients to do in their free time except look at blank walls. There is a tv in the common area, but it does not work.
This place needs to be shut down. They do not care about the patients at all; it appears to be about the almighty dollar and how long they can keep
