After a year of not seeing you face-to-face, we are eager to re-open. However, as a healthcare setting we are obligated to stay masked and have clients stay masked if on our premises. Staying masked impedes the full exchange of communication, especially for therapy. In an effort to deliver the most effective care, we will continue delivering care via telehealth.
If you have concerns about receiving your care via telehealth, please talk to your clinician as some clients may be seen in the office, although masks will be required in that event. Our policies around masking are subject to the mandates of the state. We miss you and look forward to seeing you as soon as the situation allows.

Services
As a team, we pride ourselves on the supportive, collaborative, and healthy culture nourished in our work place. We strive to create an environment where we as a whole live congruently with the values and standards that we communicate to our clients. Doing the right thing and acting with integrity are the two driving forces behind what we do.
Out of respect for the allergies, sensitivities, and/or trauma of our clients, APMH limits the presence of animals only to those that are registered service animals and/or those that are clinically determined to be emotional support animals (requires a provider's letter and appropriate training to be around people).
Sheela is the agency owner and administrator. She founded APMH in 2009, with the goal of creating a workspace for herself and others that strives to be as healthy as she asks her clients to be. Sheela has a background both as a direct service provider and educator. She received her nurse practitioner training at Oregon Health & Science University and her doctorate in nursing from the University of Washington.
Abby believes the foundation of the counseling process is maintaining a strong therapeutic relationship built on compassion for self and others.
