Although The Edge is pricey, I loved being a resident for the past 3 years! Amenities such as the gym, printing room, study areas, and courtyard are extremely convenient. Also, THE PARKING IS AMAZING! You will never have to worry about finding a parking space unlike living with WC Off Campus Housing. Maintenance staff responds extremely quickly as well. Some of the downsides include the thin walls so you can hear your upstairs neighbors walking/talking and the bedrooms with the shared bath are super small. But overall, I highly recommend living at The Edge!

Everything about this place is fine, except the rent and the wifi. It is actually absurd how often the wifi just goes out randomly with no reason and no explanation from staff, especially when you consider how much rent is here. Wifi goes out randomly at least once a month, usually more. There is no reason rent is this high when we can't even get halfway decent wifi service. Ramnet goes out far less than this, and that serves an entire campus. Do better.

They have one huge downfall- the wifi. During wcu's online classes, Zoom has been a nightmare. Half the time either I can't hear my professors or they can't hear me. Plus navigating the internet takes forever. I often find myself going back to campus just to do work. The internet is especially terrible on FaceTime, playing games, and while watching Netflix. The Edge really needs to step up and take some action. For how much we're paying for rent, they need to update the old routers, upgrade the wireless, or change providers.

The experience I've had with the Edge has been one of the worst by far. The monthly rent is way too expensive for what you are given. The internet is always down and management is useless. The pandemic has given them more of a reason to never be available. Do not rent from them.

As parents, we thought it was a really nice place for our daughter to live. The staff is extremely nice and on top of things, if you have a maintenance issue they will come right away, if they can’t fix that day they make sure the do something to hold them over till they can. The building is safe, secure and key fob to enter which is also a plus.
We think it's a good solid place to be and not to far of a walk to campus.
Highly recommend!

First off they claim they upgraded the wifi over a year ago, that never happened, even if it did the management is too incompetent to realize that it’s still terrible. Also, if you like to play video games on your down time DO NOT live here, literally does not work at all, Hotwire is by far the worst possible internet provider for gaming but since it’s cheap the edge uses it.They don’t allow access to the out of date routers in the apartment either (no ethernet access)or extenders. It’s crazy how much we pay as residents and can’t even get reliable internet to use for class/free time

Have had a handful of problems already but staff is nice and maintenance is on top of stuff. If you are a gamer at all, this is not the place to live. The wifi works for everything besides playing online games against other people. It’s a shame that they make you pay this large amount of money and can’t provide an actual efficient wifi service.

I have been extremely patient with the situation we are facing with the pandemic and have not questioned the payment of rent for the 2020 Spring semester. However, lack of communication or returning calls is unprofessional. When I finally did reach the office, the vague responses or not being able to answer simple questions caused me to think that the company is not prepared to deal with the situation we are facing. Here are two examples of my questions: Although we paid full price last year for the unlived in apartments, will any break be given if the apartment s are not sublet this semester?

For how much we pay a month, the WiFi should work. Nobody uses HotWire for a building this size for WiFi for a reason, for $1000 a month use Comcast or Verizon. I can’t do my homework and always have to leave to run to the library because your computer can’t do anything with proper WiFi.
