Sharples will always be such a special place to my Fiancé and I. Our top properties looked something like this: Safe and secure, close to downtown, updated living, friendly staff (which I would give them a 10 star rating if I could on here) and it had to feel like home! IF you are looking for anything remotely similar to the above you should consider. We enjoyed this property for 3.5 years. We would do it all over again. To the staff and property manager, Amy McCall, well done!

My husband and I have moved more times than I would like to remember over the years, on average about every two years, living in various regions of the country and even overseas. And we have a had many different rental experiences but what tends to make the best places stand out seems to be the property manager(s). And Sharples Works has one of the best property managers (Amy) we have encountered over the years! She is so kind, welcoming, helpful and you never feel like just another tenant. The team she works with, especially the maintenance team - are also very kind, courteous, and responsive

Absolutely loved living at Sharples! The walk to town is easy and in a perfect location! The staff is fantastic and can't thank them enough for making it home for over two years! Neighbors are great and if you have an animal it's a fantastic place with great ability to walk right to Marshall Park or all over the city. Definitely the best place to stay in West Chester!

After 10+ years, work relocated me back to West Chester and I couldn't imagine a better apartment complex to live in. The units are unique in the way they are all newly refurbished, but do not take away from the building's history. Walk in the lobby and you'll understand. Located a few blocks off high street, you are a quick walk from all the town has to offer but without the noise and congestion. Tax Free Shopping in Delaware is 15 minutes south, Main Street at Exton and the Exton Mall are 10 Minutes to the North. Exton also has a SEPTA/ Amtrak train station that is a 45 - 60 minute train ride

I have lived here for 6 years, and cannot imagine living in any other apartment complex. The buildings and grounds are impeccably maintained, the apartments are lovely and there's tons of parking (free!) The staff are kind, caring and do their best to make everyone feel welcome and at home. The location is ideal to walk to the great restaurants, shops, live theater, and the weekend farmers market. I am in love with this place!

My partner and I lived in Sharples for 3 years and we absolutely loved our time there. The spaces are unique and charming with loads of character. The staff is kind, helpful, and genuine. We got very close with Amy and Val who work in the leasing office. They offer a dog park, grills and a beer garden for residents, and fun events for residents to socialize. You also can't beat the location. It is in walking distance of all of the wonderful restaurants, bars, and shops West Chester has to offer. Definitely the best apartment complex in West Chester borough and we'd recommend it to anyone looking

I've rented in several different places in West Chester, and Sharples Works has by far been my best experience. My newly updated apartment combined a modern feel with the complex's nostalgic past. 120+ year old exposed beam that runs through the middle of our apartment is my favorite part. The complex has tons of character and charm, and has been preserved excellently. I see complaints about noise, the people, etc. etc...you will find those types of things at ANY apartment complex. The staff here are extremely friendly, we've had great experiences with other tenants, and have been very satisfied
