As Kansas City's downtown area continued to rapidly develop, many patrons and residents, especially in the River Market found themselves still in need of basic services. Even though our cafe is divided into different areas, the Coffee Shop is located at the front entrance. All you do is walk up and place your order with one of our baristas.

A great casual place for dining, coffee, and conversation! The atmosphere is nice for dining it too.
I ordered Uber Eats today and was pleasantly surprised at how fast & fresh my food arrived. Their potatoes are delicious and I ordered the egg & cheese on wheat; their wheat bread is really good and fresh too.

The experience was less than what my expectations were for this place. The food took quite some time to get to our table. (Not a big deal BUT) The waffles were extremely soggy as well as the sausage. The egg cold from the start. I ordered two alcoholic beverages. My partner did not enjoy hers as it was excessively strong. Both in alcohol content and whatever else that was in the cocktail. We ordered her another drink and decided to wait to ask to have the other drink removed from the tab. The drink was 80% full, but the manager refused to take it off our bill. The only redeeming quality about this

Came here this morning and was not disappointed. I think the gravy (I ordered a side for my omelette) is possibly the best homemade gravy I've ever had. My omelette was delicious and my family enjoyed their meals as well.
Coffees and smoothies were fantastic and the atmosphere is phenomenal. Definitely a place I'd return to.

A coffee shop, bakery, cafe all under one roof in the heart of river market! Anything you may want drink or food wise - you could find here. The pricing is in-line with the area but the food is tasty and filling. The drinks could use a little tlc but the menu is huge and for that I give them kudos!

Came here for lunch today, and ordered the Mushroom and Swiss burger meal. It was just the right amount of food to leave me feeling pleasantly full, and the meat itself was cooked perfectly to order (I ordered the burger medium-cooked). The service was nice and relatively quick.
My only real 'critique' would be that the fries could use a pinch more salt. Otherwise, it was a good experience and was worth the price.
The music was slightly quieter than the first time I came in a month or so ago, which I also appreciated. It wasn't too busy (~1-2 PM?).
I'm thinking about coming back to try the desserts

Went during the city market, so it was busy, but they were great with getting drinks done quickly and letting you know before ordering food how long a wait it'll be. It was worth the wait! I got the fuzzy navel smoothie and the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit sandwich. A very tasty smoothie, not to mention the best biscuit I've ever tasted!
