I would not give this place any stars!! It was horrible. First we get there to check in and we go in the room is filthy, housekeeping forgot to clean it. Took them almost 2 hours to get someone and to get the room cleaned. So now we are stuck for 2 hours waiting to get in. We go in and took us forever to get the air conditioning to work it just was not working. There's a whole in the wall where there must have been a switch that's just open with exposed wires. The floors were still NOT clean. Go in the bathroom and low and behold the toilet doesn't flush and the sink backs up. Everything in the

Update to my previous review. After informing the front desk that we found a roach they gave us a better room. This one was much better. And when we asked about cleaning up. They sent staff to do so very quickly and got us more towels 😊
Very friendly staff although I will probably not be staying here again. These rooms need a lot of maintenance and they just don't care to do so.

I'd give this establishment 0 stars if the option was available. We requested an earlier check in and 1st floor room, which was ok'd when we booked. Upon arrival, neither was available. The place was in disrepair, and we were greeted terribly. The air conditioner in our room wasn't working. I helped uninstall the old one and install the new, and carry both in and out and up and down the stairs. Waited hours for towels. When I complained, the only positive thing was I was told to check out and get a refund.

The price was ok. For the room we got it should have been a little cheaper. The a/c does work, the T.V. is decent, has DirecTV with HBO package. The room could have been a bit cleaner, it looks like they only have 1 maid. The dressers and night tables had sand all over them and was pretty sticky. Thank God the neighbor had some Clorox cleaner. The floors were dirty when we walked in, didn't seem to be swept. I had to go buy my own cleaner so I could clean the bathroom, the tub didn't come out too good. Glass broken on the steps outside. Had to pick it up so my pup didn't step on it. The only reason

The room was horrible.... The beds were covered with a flat sheet instead of a fitted sheet. There was a mattress cover on the mattress but it was paper thin and ripped in several places. The bedspread was torn. The outlet covers were missing. The freezer of the mini fridge was iced over but I put an ice cream bar in it and when I went back for it an hour later it was melted. It was much like a frat house that had been repaired (patched up) by the frat boys. The furniture looks like it came from a flea market. There was no shower head or any type

It wasn't bad at all we had a pretty nice comfortable room we wasn't crazy over our shower it had no head on it and the water hardly came out of what was there and the pool was really nice my granddaughter , son and myself loved it. We would Recommend this hotel to our family and friends ♥ and we will come back here again in the future

The only positive thing about this place is location. This place is nasty and definitely not disinfecting per pandemic conditions. Air conditioning was broke, visible dark brown stain on sheet where my head would lay, thick dust on lamps and tops on headboards, dirty bar of soap left on sink & trash from previous customers, broken furniture etc.. I wish I could post pictures!

My friend booked this place not me or I probably wouldn't have based off the reviews. Honestly the place wasn't necessarily terrible, but not necessarily the nicest place either. We were on the second floor of what looked like the nicer of the two buildings. Parking is kinda annoying, and the spots are really tight. They said they own the omega restaurant next door so you could park there if needed but we always found a spot in front of our room. Location is pretty good. AC was going super strong when we got there, we ended up turning it off because it was so cold. Room had a mini fridge

The best part of this motel was that it's only one block from the boardwalk. The structure is very old and in need of a lot of attention. The ceiling in the room had mold on it, as well as the tiles in the bathroom. No toilet paper roll in the bathroom, the rolls were sitting on the toilet tank. The curtains didn't close all the way and the room smelled musty, right after it was cleaned. Not to mention, it was very expensive and also, no pool. For the kind of money they want for the rooms here, one can definitely find much better accommodations.

I asked specifically if the cleaning staff disinfected the rooms. The smell was moldy and had an incredible stench. Because there was no refund possible at check, in we were forced to stay the night and make other accommodations for two other nights. My wife was horrified when she woke up with bugs crawling on her and had raised whelps all over her legs in the morning. Fair warning, this is not only a smelly trap, it is a dangerous motel to place your life in danger in the time of Covid. For what it is worth, I am contacting any and all Ocean City and Maryland regulatory agencies to complain

The dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Before we went to the beach, the entire room was in covered in sand; all over the floor, on the chairs, even in the sheets. You couldn't walk or put anything down on a table without it getting covered in sand. The towels had stains on them, didn't look like they had even been washed. The trash bags weren't changed out from the last guests and the shower had dirt all over it. There was dust all over the furniture, someone even wrote "hello" in the dust on the walls. No one came in during the day to clean the room. There was no internet

I stayed here for two nights and it was not the greatest experience at all. The price is cheap--but the quality of this motel room was extremely poor. First of all, when we walked in, the floor was covered in dirt. You had to walk with shoes on all the time or else your feet would be covered in gross sh*t. The beds were absolutely disgusting. Dirt and blood all over the sheets, etc. I was appalled. Also, no one comes to clean the rooms. All they do is give you more towels and that's it. They don't sweep (which is probably why the floor had first 2 inches thick) and they don't supply

This motel is one block from the ocean on 27th. the tram that runs the entire boardwalk picks up a block away from it so the location is pretty convenient. plenty of eateries within reasonable walking distance and lots to do very close.
the room we had on the second floor had wood overlay flooring but the rooms on the first floor had very dirty looking white grouted tile. the bathroom didn't have the option for a bath but that may have been because we had a single king bed room. room service was terrible as we stayed 3 nights and they didn't come to clean or replenish toilet paper or

I understand this is a motel and on the "cheaper" side for a place on the beach, however, the room was literally inhabitable. For over $160, I do expect to be able to SLEEP in the room. After a long day out and about, we came back to the room to shower and got in bed to find the beds were RIDDEN with bed bugs! Beyond disgusted, we immediately inspected all of our belongings and packed up. We went to the office only to be told we would not be getting a refund regardless of the reason. My friend and I booked our room last minute for one night during Labor Day Weekend, paid about $90 each to split a king size bed. The furniture appears to be randomly thrown into the rooms- nothing matched and there was a dresser in the opening to the closet so even if I wanted to hang something it would have been impossible. Only one working outlet that my friend and I could find, and all we were provided were towels and bar soap. If I could give negative stars I would!!! I gave 1 Star because I couldn't post this otherwise. The ONLY positive thing I can say about this place was the location was good. Quick walk to the beach and plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. And the front desk staff was nice.

No one in their right mind would probably step into this motel expecting something fancy. All the other reviews are correct; this motel is clearly old and could use better cleaning in the rooms. Yet, my guess is that this motel still gets some business because of its really cheap price, despite its uncleanliness. But no matter how cheap a place is, no place is worth sleeping in if it's infested with bed bugs.
Spend a little more money and go somewhere else. If the Sea Cove Motel is your absolute last resort, you're still better off sleeping in your car

The only positive thing I can say about this place is great location for beach goers. Hotel is outdated. Paneling from the 70s everywhere. Paint chipping and peeling inside and out. Large chunks of paint peeling off bathroom walls. Dark, dusty, and dingy. Brown stains on bathroom wall beside the toilet. Shower head looked to be missing so the stream just shot out everywhere. The air conditioner leaked water on the floor inside and didn't work properly, pick a temperature it would either run constantly or shut off. The bed had a sheet and a comforter, no real blanket. Ugh! WOULD NEVER STAY

As we were approaching the hotel, we noticed that the outside of the hotel appeared to be dated, but we remained hopeful that our room would be adequate. Upon check-in, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We checked in, set our bags in and went out for the night. After getting back, we pretty much went right to bed. Upon waking up in the morning, we began to notice how dirty the hotel room was. There was copious amounts of dust on the lamps, lampshades, almost all surfaces and the air conditioner. Cons: There was sand on the floor from the previous guests and there was also sand in the sheets. Ants were crawling on our table. The cushions of the chairs were wet. The bathroom sink faucet had a broken handle and the shower was dirtier than I've ever kept mine- I went back to my college days and wore flip flops in the shower. They also had nothing more than a door knob lock on the door. I can't believe we spent about $450 on the room alone.

The room stunk. I don't even know how to explain the smell, like they were trying to cover something up.
The bathroom sink had no handle- just a metal screw to turn it on with and only the option of hot water.
The shower was gross, dirt in it and it just kinda misted water out.
The towel had someone else's hair on it.
The bed, when opening up the sheets had sunflower seed shells in it.
Sand under the bed.
