The Shangri-La Motel is one of the best values at the beach. Family owned and operated, we pride ourselves in providing clean comfortable accommodations to Ocean City Visitors year after year. Located in north Ocean City on the oceanside of Coastal Highway at 84th street, only 1/2 block walk to the beautiful beach.

Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. You are invited to join local artist, Heather Layton, in the Northside Park Community Room where she will guide through several craft projects with a holiday theme, perfect for gift giving or decorating your home. All arts and crafts supplies will be provided.

Worcester County Humane Society annual fun walk-a-thon on the Ocean City MD boardwalk! All proceeds benefit the Ocean City area's no-kill pet shelter. Bring your pet for a fun day on the boards to help the animals or adopt a shelter dog for the day by making arrangements prior to the walk-a-thon. Please check back.

I have to say my experience here was super! The staff (Susan, Larry, and the cleaning staff) were all very friendly, conversational, and always ready to help. Susan is so kind and thoughtful, and Larry is the man! I've stayed at many motels in Ocean City over the past 10 years and hands-down this is one of the best ones. The room is spacious for having 2 queens, and there's even enough room for a kitchenette. While the room/facilities are a bit older, they really clean it. (For example, the bathroom floor was spotless and the oven was freshly wiped down and prepped for the next person

Awesome experience! Staff was nice, room was very clean upon arrival. We will probably be returning again next year! We appreciated the quiet atmosphere, even next to coastal highway.

We were greeted by Friendly and helpful staff.The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfy. A short walk to the beach.We enjoyed our stay.

Loved Shangri La! The rooms were incredibly clean, staff was kind and attentive, the atmosphere was great, and there was ample parking. I was impressed with the accessibility of this motel including having grab bars in the shower/bathroom!

This place is ok for the price i guess. Everyone i dealt with was friendly but the room is a little outdated for me. The shower temperature constantly changes, had ashes in the medicine cabinet.
