Maridel Motel

Just as expected for a weekend getaway on bike week no complaints here.

Maridel Motel was so great. I took a surprise trip for my son as an end of summer gift and wasn't looking to spend a fortune, as I knew I would be spending a fortune on activities. Booking through the hotel directly saved me money. Check in wasn't until 3 so we spent the day at the beach until check in time and it worked out perfectly. Check in was a breeze and the front desk staff was pleasant. I requested a ground floor room and got one so that was a huge plus for me. It was very clean but out dated but still nice for your money for a girls last minute run away trip. Needed a place to sit outside besides little smoking area on the side or back of building or pool area. I do not smoke.

It's okay here. Beds aren't very comfortable, but they did give us towels when we asked for them. The pool was nice too.

As a parent we are expected to expect the unexpected. After the beginning of our vacation took a very drastic turn my family was scrambling to find a hotel with a decent price with no reservations on a SATURDAY none the less. We stumbled upon this small jem and couldn't be more happy. The hotel was nothing fancy it had a actual key lock still, had 2 king beds a very small bathroom and tub also the view isnt some beautiful ocean view. But the place you can tell was taken care of by the staff, always someone wiping things down. There are NO bugs clean sheets, a small fridge and tv with wifi. The

I had to find a room for a night. I didn't feel like paying a fortune for a room that I was only going to be in for one night. I'm so glad that I found this hidden gem. The beds are comfortable, the room was very clean and it smelled wonderful. I only wish I could have stayed here longer. I will definitely come back for a longer stay.

We never got to stay because Paul never actually made our reservation. He spent 40 minutes on the phone with us planning our reservation and then never booked it in the computer. When we arrived for our stay, he said we never made a reservation and offered us an apartment for $400 a night on a 3rd floor with no elevator. When told we had a disabled child who couldn't use the stairs he disregarded that issue and restated his suggestion. Completely unprofessional and terrible customer service.

Had a great stay. Short walk to the beach/places to eat/ and close to Seacrets. We had a king bed room. It was clean, had a microwave/fridge, and bed was comfortable. It was the most affordable motel so not alot of frills but me and my husband aren't people who stay in the room alot on vacation. Staff was friendley and helpful. We would stay here again.

The place is a little dated and tucked away in a corner. You can tell the owners take pride in the appearance of the place as it is spotless for a motel. If it was closer to the boardwalk it would be perfect.

The place was very clean and did not have a problem checking in. The owners were very friendly and seems to care about the motel very much.
