Zero stars. Go to the Atlantic instead - it’s right next door, has a better pool, more efficient staff, and overall more professional and a bit cleaner. Fenwick Islander would have been ok for what it was had the staff not canceled my reservation and tried to stuff eight people in a room instead. Please do not be fooled if they ask you to book through them instead of booking.com because if they make a mistake they will not take responsibility or accommodate you. They made me cancel my booking.com reservation and book through them (probably so they didn’t have to pay a fee) but advertised it

This was such a horrible disappointment! We drove 10 hours and we’re so excited for a peaceful stay….over 200 dollars a night and when we got here we were put in a room with an incredibly noisy road near, feces, flies, blood on bed, cracked and broken everything. The pictures totally misrepresented this place and we had to leave and cancel after the first night. If we had any place to go we would have never even stayed one night. I never write reviews unless they are nice but I felt a duty to let folks know that this place is nothing like their descriptions. I wish I could attach pictures because

I usually avoid motels because I have stayed in some awful ones in the past, especially in beach towns, but I am so glad I gave this one a shot! The room was clean and comfortable, and the proximity to the beach was an added bonus. For the price, you can’t beat it!! even during prime beach season, this place is super affordable in comparison to other options in the area (especially those in ocean city). All of the employees were incredibly sweet and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again!!

The location is wonderful. Cross rte 1 and go one block to the beach. Free beach, not crowded and lifeguards on duty. There is a canal behind the hotel that is beautiful and peaceful, especially at sunset not you have to be on the back of the hotel and on the southern half to appreciate from your balcony. Nice pool with tables around and chaise lounges. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Quite a few restaurants in walking distance. Hallways are not air conditioned, just windows at each end. Rooms are fine, not fancy but beds are pretty new, and there's enough room between the partial kitchen (small

This hotel is a hidden gem. It is old and a little outdated but don't let that stop you. There are a lot of reviews for the front office staff and for very good reason. This is a hotel you stay at when you want peace and quiet. The beach is right across the street. There are several activities and great restaurants within walking distance. The area is pretty low key so it's much better for families and those wanting a quiet stay.

What made this experience incredible and what would bring me back is the woman at the front desk, Rose. She goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable, know everything you need to know and will get you whatever you need to feel at home. Her presence is very warm and welcoming. The motel itself is not bad. It’s very nice and well priced. My only complaint would be 1. the balcony door was left opened when we arrived and 2. the bathtub wasn’t cleaned before we came in, but it was a 2 minute job for me to do myself. But I’m still here with the love of my life and we’ve had an incredible
